Not that great.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/06/09
Pros: Pretty hotel, nice beds, rooms are spacey, big work out center and pool. Cons: Costs for parking, local calls, and internet use(doesn't work very well in room have to go to lobby for best reception). No continental breakfast and limited cable channels. I stay in a hotel every month in St louis and highly recommend Drury Inn for best accomendations.

What a Wonderful Time
By KellieK, 12/05/08
On a recent get away weekend we stayed at this wonderful Hotel. The staff were all extremely pleasant, the rooms were spacious, comfortable and with a marvelous view. The only recommendation I would make would be the pool being a tad cooler then we would have liked, but that is a minor thing and quickly overlooked once we got in the large and wonderful hot tub. Another down was the restaraunt, which was very steep in price for the food (the four dollar cup of coffee was a shock) But there are is a coffee shop on location that satisfied our breakfast needs nicely and tons of other restaraunts close at hand to enjoy. Will highly recommend to anyone wishing to come to St. Louis.

Will never go back !!!!!!!!
By neal, 09/01/08
I will never stay at this most unfriendly hotel again. First it started we went to check in at 3:00 (which is check-in time and if they do not have any better cleaning staff than that then they need to hire some more staff then) and the lady (which was so unfriendly) said there was no rooms ready it would be at least two hours before we could get our room and they were messing everyone around. So I wait about half an hour and go back to see if I can get another room and the first lady had canceled our room out of the system so when I ask that lady about getting another room she said we had canceled our reservation about half an hour ago and I said no I had tried to check in half an hour ago and I was told there was no rooms available. So finally at about 4:00 we finally get a room. Then we go to go to the parking garage after doing our thing that evening and there is no parking spots available on any of the floors so I go back down to the front and they man at valet desk says to me very rudely there is plenty parking so he says to me I will park it for you in valet parking for the same price then so when we get our bill we were charged for valet parking. So when we get back to our room that evening and go in to take a shower there was only one towel in our room. So it was not a pleasant stay at all.

Huge Disappointment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/08
My husband and I just stayed at the Sheraton a few nights ago and were really disappointed. The hotel was clean but looked rather outdated inside. The room was spacious and appreciated that it was a suite with a sofa sleeper. The service was pathetic. Hotel staff wasn't very friendly, had to call the front desk a couple of times and let the phone ring for quite a while until the rude front desk lady finally answered. Room service took forever and didn't deliver everything it was supposed to. The biggest perk of the hotel was the proximity to the Scottrade Center (1 block away). I doubt I will stay there again as there is a Hyatt at Union Station that is much cheaper and is only a few blocks away from the Scottrade Center.

Would NEVER go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/15/08
I stayed at the hotel for a weeks class. I made my reservations in January and had confirmation for a smoking room. When I checked in I was told they had gone non smoking on March 1, 2008. I asked why I was not notified so that I could have changed Hotels. I was never given an answer. I got off of the elevator on the 6th floor and the smell of mold would have knocked you down. The smell in the lobby smelled like burnt fish oil. It would make your eyes water. Also they had closed down the pool for work. But on check in was asked if I had my suit to swim. Ha ha....I have stayed at motel 6 and had better rooms. Also in the grout in front of the tub there was mold rust and hair. YUK!!!!!!!

Nice Hotel
By Sandra, 01/02/08
Like Very clean, good service. Right across the street from the train terminal so it is easy to get around. Dislike Thin walls, you hear EVERYTHING. pay for a room and they charge you 17 bucks a night to park also. this is SOOOO wrong! If you are a guest you should not have to pay to park!

so so stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/07
It was an ok place to stay, however for having the "Sherton" name its definitely just ok. We rented a suite, and it was fine, clean etc, however internet charges are $10 per day. I can stay at a more "moderate" hotel and get free internet access. In said suite, there was a frige, which is nice, but no microwave, and not one on site offered for use either. My biggest complaint is after spending 119.00 per night, we were required to spend an additional $17.00 per day for parking! I was shocked that the hotel wouldnt validate. We chose this hotel because its across the street from the Scott Trade Center, but if it werent for that convenience to our event, we'd not stay again.

nice, but....
By Lilly, 11/24/07
I've been to the St. Louis Sheraton City Centre a couple of times. The first trip was great - clean room, friendly staff, decent price, nice facility - good overall experience. So, the next trip, my family decided to return to the same Sheraton City Centre. on our next trip, the hotel was busy with weddings and business related clients. My family was made to feel second rate, even though we payed full price for a suite on the preferred guest floor. My family was not welcome in the courtesy suite - we were ignored by the staff and eventually left. Our suite lacked in linens and general cleanliness. The pool staff was rude. Even the front desk staff was disrespectful when informing them of room issues, inquiring about St. Louis directions and local phone numbers. Upon returning home, I sent a "complaint" e-mail to Sheraton and was surprised to receive an immediate phone call from the hotel manager. We will give them one more chance in hopes that we can have the fun experience we had on our first trip.
