Pleasantly surprised

Rooms have been updated, beds were comfortable, room was clean, staff very nice & helpful. Breakfast was a nice start to the day. Couple of restuarants close by. Would go back.

Terrible

Hotel is old. They are renovating which consists of painting over the old walls. The towels and bathroom floor had hair on them, the tile in the shower was mildewed. Old window air conditioner units that were noisy, and elevators that make you glad to take the stairs. Awful, terrible, bad.

Horrible! Don't stay here!

Well, the front desk staff was very rude and couldn't even fulfill a basic request such as calling our room to let us know when our pizza arrived, even when we called to let them know that we had ordered one. When the delivery guy came he was told that nobody with our name was staying there and we know that the delivery guy talked to the same guy we talked to b/c he was the only man working the front desk. We gathered all this from the pizza place. When we asked the lady working the front desk about this we treated rudely and with a "sorry about your luck!" attitude. We got a room with a jacuzzi and the tub was 5 feet from the bed with no partiton or privacy or anything. I watched the bedroom television while sitting in the tub. The lady working the breakfast talked with a friend who didn't work there, or was at least not on duty, who insisted on chewing his gum so loudly that all the other hotel guests in the room were looking at each other with the same disgusted expression. The only nice person we encountered was upon check out when she gave us $10 off the bill, which was nice but much too little too late. I would not recomment this hotel and I will never stay at a Choice Hotel again if at all possible.

The Worst Service EVER

The staff was sarcastic, rude and unprofessional. An employee (manager) almost ran my son over in the parking garage on his way to park in one of the few handicapped parking spots. By the way, there was NO handicapped marking anywhere on his vehicle. His handicap was certainly not physical. My children and I were placed next to a room where a "business transaction" was obviously taking place at all hours of the day and night, and nothing was done about the obnoxious noise. I would NEVER stay at this location again, and I would recommend that you do not either.

The first room I went to was about 95 degrees and the temperature control setting was all the way on the coolest setting. I called and was promptly given another room, in which the climate control was working properly. Rest of the place was fine. Service was prompt. Free Coffee at later hours was nice.

Don't Stay Here

The staff is very rude. I was here for a long term stay and the desk staff was really aweful. I had desk staff try to convert me to their religion and the management does nothing to challenge the staff to act in a professional manner.
