Comfort Suites, La Grange

The rooms were dirty and the staff was not courteous at all. I complained to the manager the next morning and she told me to not stay here again if i disliked it so much . room was ice cold when i arrived , the bathroom floor and shower was dirty . would never recommend this to anyone .

Terrible place..mold on ceiling and walls, ants,spiders and roaches in rooms. Showers leak or don't work. We stayed 4 days and our room was NEVER cleaned! People were smoking inside the hotel although hotel is supposed to be smoke free. End of hallways were wet and floors were rotted. Desk staff offered to do our groups laundry for a "PRICE"! Large amounts of hair in some tubs..toothpaste on mirrors, cereal smashed in carpets. Most of our lights did not work in our room. They will NOT let you check in not even a minute or two early! Has to be the check in time or later... period! Very hard to swim in pool or even be in the room with the pool and hot tub due to too much chlorine being used. Eyes begin to burn when you walk into the hotel. Our door key cards did not work the entire time we stayed there. Had to have the key cards fixed each time we went to our room. Only saw staff cleaning on the day we left the hotel. (4th day!) Would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone .. there are 3 other hotels at this same exit.. go to one of those hotels!!

This is a pet friendly hotel, and the room smelled like an out-house. The air conditioner leaked and saturated a large portion of the carpet, the internet never did work and the front desk could not figure out why. The room was run down and the entry door was messed up. The pool never had clean towels, and no place to put the wet ones so they were all over the floor, chairs and stayed that way clear until the next day. I booked this hotel because it is pet friendly but never expected the smell to be so bad. I would have gone to another hotel but Louisville was hosting a car show and every hotel was booked. The good points I can say is the breakfast buffet was ok and the bed was comfortable.

I was with a motor-coach group staying at this motel. Every room in which our travelers were staying was dirty. Dirty floors, dirty bathroom and pet hair on the furniture. This motel does allow pets which is fine but clean up after them. My particular room had a very strong odor of animal urine. I asked to be moved to another room but of course there was no other room available. After conversing with the manager, she did try to fix the smell but after all the stuff she sprayed in the room settled down it still smelled like urine. That is not a smell you want to sleep with all night. It would be a nice place if they would make sure the cleaning staff is really cleaning. I will never take another group to stay in this motel and probably because of our experience, I will never stay in another Comfort Suites. There are other motels in LaGrange, do yourself a favor and stay some place other than the Comfort Suites.
