Southern hospitalty lives on
Recently, while traveling back home to Florida from our son's wedding in New Jersey, my wife and I were guests at the Dahlgren Holiday Inn Express for two nights. This was out of necessity as our car had malfunctioned Saturday afternoon and we were unable to have it repaired until Monday. We had stayed at Holiday Inn Express sites before and found them to provide very satisfactory amenities at a competitive price. This location was no exception. We found the inn to be clean and the service staff very courteous and helpful. The continental breakfast was very serviceable and provided good variety. (Don't miss the warm cinnamon rolls!) About the only improvement we could suggest would be cleaner reception on some of the TV channels. We recommend this hotel and especially Rudy's Towing Service just down the road whose owner and mechanic went cheerfully out of their way to get the parts for our car and repair it quickly and skillfully so we could be on our way.
