Meridian Inn & Suites, Meridian

There was no rain storm, but when our motorcycle broke down on our way to Glacier Nat'l Park it felt like we were facing a hurricane. However, everything about our stay was perfect: from beds to cleanliness to pillows to the best of all..the Staff, in particular Kim. Kim is one of the most pleasant people I have encountered in a service industry. The location was perfect with food establishments within walking distance (important when you are without transportation, something you don't think about when you are on the road traveling.

This hotel had some annoyances and some good things. The eggs were runny at breakfast, the plain bagels were hard, and the cream cheese was very old. The 2nd floor ice machine was not working. I did request a complimentary toothpaste but never got it. The fitness room was nice and the wirelesss internet worked well. I have been wow'd over by HIExpress Hotels, but not this one.

No complaints, was even upgraded to a Jacuzzi room. Fitness room and pool were pleasant.

We have stayed at this motel twice and have found it enjoyable both times. The rooms are very clean; I love the white comforter instead of a blanket. There are plenty of pillows with cases lableling the pillows "firm" or "soft". This is better service than at home. There is a computer in the area across from the desk; I was able to check my email and do some on line banking at no extra charge. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The manager (Joe) is very helpful and does everything to make the guest feel comfortable. The breakfast has many selections to choose from; the food is hot and very good. Also, when we checked in there were chocolate chip cookies, still warm, being served. This was so cool. I highly recommend this motel to everyone, The quality and price is exceptional. We thank Joe and the staff for a very pleasant stay.

The Meridian Holiday Inn Express always has that new smell and look. It's like the place just opened for business. Keep up the great work.

Note that if you need to cancel, they require ONE YEARS advance notice to cancel a room. Be very sure you want to stay there before committing to their rooms. They blame travelocity, travelocity blames them.
