Comfort Suites South Park, Colonial Heights

The hotel staff was very unprofessional. The rooms were not ready upon arrival at the check in time of 3 pm. The housekeeping staff were just preparing the rooms at 2:30 pm. Booking was done online to prearrange two rooms together which were not done. I had the inconvenience of dealing with putting a handicapped family member on another floor which defeated the purpose of requesting joint rooms. Once the staff found out I put in a complaint with the management, they literally took their time to get the new rooms ready and spoke nastily and argumentative about it. The assigned rooms also had a smell to them. This is the first and last visit. If I'm paying $100 for a room, I'd expect to get what I've requested with courtesy. If not possible; inform me at the time of confirmation. Never again.
