Shaws Restaurant & Inn, Lancaster

!We drive from Granville to Lancaster to go to Dinner at Shaw's! We love the food and think that Susie has done an excellent job with the menu! My husband has been going to Shaw's for 20+ years and I have for nine years....once or twice a month! They act like they don't know us when we walk in......if we dare request outside or a table by the window.....the attitude is so rude ...I want to turn around and walk out! Tonight was our last try.......the attitude of the staff ruins the evening! I guess their business is so good they can insult their customers ....and not care if they come back again??? We will not go back......EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

My now Husband has taken me on many mid-week get aways to Shaws for the past 7 years, I love the place. We have always had the best food and hotel service when ever we have stayed. It is truely a little piece of heaven in Lancaster, Ohio. I love staying and eating at Shaws.

we liked the rooms we looked at and the one we stayed in. but that was after choosing one and coming back in the evening and finding the heater was not working right, so they upgraded us to another room. BUT if you go in the winter, don't go spur of the monent. make a reservation so they can turn on the heat a day ahead so your room will be warm when you get there. it was 4:00 am before room was warm. also menu said steaming cup of hot chocolate, it was not, barely warm. breakfast was very good and unlike the room ,HOT. we would like to go again to give it a second chance.

We come from Michigan every Memorial Weekend to visit family and friends. We love the location, away from the main track, small town feeling.....The food in the restaurant and pub is excellent. The staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome.

Wehad a great time there. The town is really cute. It was my honeymoon and was paid for by my father but I know he paid a little too much because he went through the hotel and not yahoo travel ;) Rooms are pricey but the food is GREAT!

I loved my room and the food and room service were wonderful. The staff is very friendly and the location is right downtown, which is great during the Lancaster Art Festival. Would recommend this to anyone who likes quaint charming places with excellent food.
