NIGHTMARE
I truly thought I must be having a nightmare when I stayed at this hotel. I have stayed at many Extended Stay hotels with good experiences, but this one was awful. My 14 year old daughter and I checked into the hotel after 11 pm on a Friday night. I had called ahead twice to let them know we would be there late. When we went to our room, the beds were made, but when we pulled down the covers the hairs made it obvious that the sheets had not been changed. We had requested a non smoking and the smoke smell was so bad we could hardly stand it, but opened the window. When we turned on more lights, we realized the room was not clean at all. Cigarette ashes covered the table, and even some change. I called down to the desk and was told there were no other rooms, and no one to clean ours, someone could help us the next day. I asked for at least clean sheets so I could change my bed. I went downstairs and the young man working there got them for us. We stripped the beds, leaving off all except the sheets because they smelled so bad. Then I went into the bathroom. No towels, dirty mirror, sink, tub and toilet. I called back down and he said he was sorry. I was appalled!!! I was on vacation, it was the middle of the night with my teenage daughter and moving to another hotel wasn't an option...plus I had prepayed. I asked for towels and cleaner amd went back downstairs to get them. While waiting for the elevator, a naked woman walked out of the elevator.! Now I know the hotel couldn't control that at 2 in the morning, but it only added to the nightmarishness of the experience.I completely cleaned the bathroom and found mold floating on the coffee in the coffee pot. This room must have not been cleaned in a long time! Next morning I called to get the promised help only to be told there was none. I couldn't believe the day manager was telling me that no one could help me with my room. I called the corporate office, and they said because it was a weekend they couldn't help me either. Even though we had payed for two nights, we packed up and left. We were supposed to spend the day in Disneyland, but by now it was 10am. I called to another hotel and got a room for the night. We couldn't check in until 3, so unforturnately our day in Disneyland ended up being an evening in Disneyland. It doesn't end there......When I got home I talked to the top manager of the hotel, Cameron. He was apologetic and very nice, offered to give me a free night....ect. Then he found out I paid through Priceline and left me a message that he couldn't do anything since I paid through Priceline. I originally was not going to post a bad review because I thought the management should have a chance to make some kind of compensation for this horrible experience. That was July and this is November and nothing has been done, so this review is my only recourse. I have photos of the room
