We spent an extra $20 per night (2 night stay) for this hotel because it said it had a heated pool. When we got here they were "airing out carpet" in the pool room and had the doors open (to 30 degree weather). Obviously the pool heater couldn't keep up with it and the water was cold, when we took our issue to the front desk and asked they at least give us a $20/night discount (since we choose the hotel specifically for the advertised heated pool) the best they would consider was $10/night refund. The rooms are average, nothing impressive, same of the breakfast. Half the carpet in the hallway is missing, and the rest is held down with duct tape. There is a lot of black mold around the vents in the corridor (at least on the third floor where we were located). I had expected a lot better from a Ramada branded hotel, this being my first stay in a Ramada I'm very disappointed with the quality of this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.
I am not one to pay 85.00 for a 50.00 room and that is exactly what we were offered. The pictures make the rooms look big and the beds and pillows are supposed to be soft and comfortable. Well, take it from someone not trying to talk up or down the place, just want the truth told. The rooms are small, the beds are hard, the pillows are 3 inches thick and the camera they used for the photos has some kind of special feature to make it look like your getting more bang for your buck.
There are a lot of cheaper places that are a much better quality in my opinion.
I have stayed here three times in the last month & half. The first visit was good but everything since then has been horrible. On my second visit, my the motor wentout on the heater in my room and kept me awake all night. When I asked the manager to move me to another room I found that he knew about the problem but put me in the room anyway. He was very upset that I would not move my things to the new room that morning. I tried to explain to him that I was on my way to the office and did not have time to move until after I got back that evening. He was much more concerned with getting the room cleaned and getting soemone else in it that night than my inconveniences. He never apologized for the night of sleep I lost or having to change rooms.
On my third visit, it was issue after issue. My blow dryer quit working while I was drying my hair. I had to go to another room to finish it. While at the front desk I overheard another guest ask the frontdesk for a plunger and they didn't have one to give him. They told him they would have to find one and bring it to him.
The girl at the frontdesk also explained when I questioned my bill that the rate you see online does not match the rate they give you unless you book your reservation online. They will charge you more if you call in to reserve your room.
There are many hotels in the area and I will definitely beign staying at another one during my future trips to Little Rock. I have had it with this hotel. There are many more issues I could go on and on about....
I often visit Little Rock for business purposes. This hotel has the best rates available for the services they provide. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is maintained and I can always eat a quick bite before starting my day.
Anytime I've needed something, the staff were more than happy to assist me. Sometimes parking can be a hassle when large groups are booked. Will be returing here for years to come! As a matter of fact, I've just booked two reservations for this summer.
We took our Church Youth group there. They lied to us, they where rude. The room I said in smelled bad and was not clean. There was a roach crawling down the wall. I had to spray my entire room before I could let my girls go in. We will NOT be staying there again.
We decided on the Ramada Limited because of the price, the continental breakfast and indoor pool. We were not disappointed; however, the motel was definitely not sound proof. We heard the trucks and motorcycles outside, as well as the people walking in the hall outside our room and upstairs. However, overall, great rooms, friendly staff and wonderful price.
