We switched to this hotel from another one that was of pretty poor quality and I will say it was a HUGE change. This hotel was absolutely Wonderful. The rooms were large and we had two large beds, a refrigerator and microwave. The pool was great and the staff was superb. It is one the top of my list for hotels that we stayed at on our trip. We visited towns from Louisville to Cave City and also East to Natural Bridge and we stayed at several different places. This hotel tops the list for the nicest, cleanest and at a great price. We paid more for less than this several times. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Louisville and when I return you can bet I will book here again!!! Also, noticed on another reveiw they said it was not convenient to shopping - it is 3 miles to a Super Walmart - so that is simply false.

For a budget hotel, this place is just fine. It's conveniently located about 15 miles outside of downtown. There's a pool and whirlpool, along with a small, but fully functional, exercise room. Business center with free internet connection. Plenty of "what to do" information in the small, but nicely appointed, lobby. Free continental breakfast with a well-stocked eating area. The staff is very friendly, and extremely helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the "suite" was okay, but nothing to get excited about. Free cookies at the front desk were a nice extra touch. Only complaint is that the non-smoking room picked up the smell of smoke from the nearby smoking rooms. Good value for the price.

LIKES: ROOM WAS CLEAN, ROOMY, HAD FRIDGE, MICROWAVE, HAIR DRYER AND IRON.CLOSE TO KINGFISH, WENDY'S, MCDONALDS, RUBY TUESDAY'S, HOMETOWN BUFFET, GARDEN RIDGE, SAM'S, KFC, WAFFLE HOUSE. BREAKFAST WAS QUICK, HOT AND HAD SOME VARIETY OF OFFERINGS FOR THE 3 NITES WE STAYED. THEY OFFER FREE LAUNDRY SOAP WHEN USING FACILITIES THERE ALSO FREE COOKIES. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. DISLIKES: SMALL, FLAT PILLOWS. ACTUALLY, THE PILLOWS WERE OUR ONLY COMPLAINT!

Pool belongs in a prison. Rooms not big. Service was helpful. Breakfast was OK. No big retail nearby for handy items. Price was OK but not great
