Comfort Inn and Suites Macon, Macon

We had my daughter's 9th birthday party here. Her birthday is in February and we had a sleepover/pool party. The manager put us in a room where we wouldn't bother anyone else and the girls could be as loud as they wanted. We had 12 girls spend the night, and about 18 total for the pool. The girls had a blast! The staff was great, the hotel was nice, no problems whatsoever. My daughter wants to do it again this year!!

LIked: the location, the price, and the staff. The television, the heat/air and the toilet worked, thankfully. As many issues as we had come up, the front desk staff was wonderful. Unfortunately, some of the items were beyond what a desk staff could address. Nothing worked in this newly rennovated room. I was told that I was the first to stay in this room since the upgrades. Picked ujp the phone to call the desk, the phone didn't work. Clerk brought a new phone up and tried both jacks, nothing. The third coffee pot we tried worked, but leaked. Could not eat my leftover steak for breakfast because the fridg didn't work and my food spoiled. Could adjust the hour time on the clock, but not the minute setting. Could not wash my hair because the water pressure was so low, sink drained very slowly, which I gues is good in a way, because I needed to stop the drain to wash my face and the drain stopper did not work. There was glue type crud around the under edge of the sink; newly rennovated? Really? Paint looked like primer with brush strokes all over and nothing was caulked. Looked as if they had tried to stain the grout line but did not finish the job, unusual odor, but I brought my own air freshener. The new decor is horrible with yellow and red walls; not the nice buttercup yellow either, and light lime green fort he elevator doors, but with the poor lighting, it didn't matter too much. To be newly rennovated, it sure did 'feel' dirty. I chose to assume that the linens were clean, though there was hair in the extra bed. At least I had 2 beds from which to choose.
