Clarion Hotel and Suites Winnipeg is approximately one block from Winnipeg Arena and Stadium and two miles from Winnipeg International Airport. Manitoba's largest shopping mall, Polo Park Shopping Center, is directly across the street. Hotel amenities include the full-service day spa (with mineral pool), fitness room, free weekday newspapers, and restaurant. Horrible, noisy, dirty and rude staff

We booked the room traveling with small children, which the hotel was aware of, yet they put us in a room over a wedding and next to a wedding social, so the very loud music was intolerable and went on until after 1 am. When I went to the front desk to ask what could be done the staff member, and later the night time food and beverage manager claimed there was nothing that could be done and didn't offer any kind of solution at all. They were totally useless in addition to being completely rude. The room was expensive, dirty, and had no fridge or mini bar. Also, the pool they promote is badly maintained and has crumbling concrete. Very dirty and icky! This place is a total dump! You can do so much better when stayiing in Winnipeg - don't waste your time here! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

best beds ever

The hotel was very clean. Our room was so big with the best king sized bed you could amagion. The pillows were fantastic. I love this hotel. The only bad thing was the room service foood isn't that good but there are alot of resturants around. So best off getting delivery
 
 
 
 
 
Think twice about staying.

I spent a Saturday night at the Clarion while passing through Winnipeg. I parked my vehicle in the hotel's parkade for the night only to discover that someone had attempted the break into it causing considerable damage. I notified the front desk whose only comment was that there is a security guard patrolling the parkade and he didn't report anything. The front desk person did not care the least bit and could not be bothered. The parkade itself has a drop gate to allow only people with hotel access cards entrance. Unfortunately, the hotel was not utilizing this security system and any passerby had access to the vehicles parked within. I will never stay at the Clarion again and recommend anyone think twice about staying there.

GREAT, FANTASTIC, AWESOME

I really enjoyed my stay here. I brought my kids for the water slide and they really enjoyed it. The Front desk staff was very accomidating and the room service was excellant. I would recommend this place to anyone. Its clean, friendly, and a great location. Very excellant experiance for my WHOLE family.

AWFUL

I stayed at this hotel last weekend and the service was awful. They not only showed me no resect they didn't even clean are room. I hated my stay and will never go back.

Great Stay and Service

Are family was just there for summer holidays. The hotel is great with so much to do. The service was the best that I have experienced. The staff went our of their way to make it a great time for my family.

Absolutely Terrible Service!

This may be a great hotel, in terms of facilities, but what good is that if the service is terrible? The desk staff are ignorant/poorly trained and the management is rude and incompetent! Had it not been for them, I probably could have had a good stay at this hotel, instead of checking out and going to another hotel the same day I arrived! I'll never use a Clarion hotel again! Don't go here if you're a younger than 30, they'll treat you like some sort of ignorant child. If you want any respect at all, go somewhere else. But if U wanna throw your money away and be treated badly, by all means stay here!
