Hilton Garden Inn Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage, Rancho Mirage

I went to this hotel for a 2 night stay and it was amazing. It was quiet and the pool was clean and heated. There was a jacuzzi and a fitness room. Nice staff members like Sam were there. They would greet you every time saying good moring with a smile. The price was amazing $50 a night OMG. I stayed in rm. 140 for all you guys wondering. So visit here and the temps go up to 120 degrees farenheit so the A/C keeps you cold it is very quiet and works perfectly. Only thing i sort of didnt like is that it didnt have a flatscreen tv. Near many restaurants like AppleBees and HomeTown Buffet and there is a kids jackpot area 5 miles away called Boomers kids will love it believe me.

Last weekend, I booked three rooms for my family. In one room (Room 206), my son saw a cockroach. I reported this to the desk clerk, and she said it was not a cockroach, but a a big insect coming from the palm outside. Nevertheless, she should have contacted housekeeping, and they should fumigate the room. Imagine being bitten by this insect. Also, left a child's backpack but never heard from the hotel about this- suggest that since they know who checks in in their rooms, they should write the guest to say that they found a back pack. What is sad is that I love staying in this hotel, except for this experience. The airconditioning system should be updated. It makes a lot of noise when in automatic and the desired temperature has not been reached.

7-6-07 We stayed at this hotel in 2006 and it was just ok for the price. Then the Hotel changed owners in 2007 and what a nightmare it was - we arrived at night and the night auditor was no where to be found. There was an employee sitting on the patio with the door propped open with a chair (fire code vilation) talking on a cell phone - after waiting 15 minutes for the someone to show up at the front desk I finally went a got the guy on the phone who had to "find" the night auditor. We were quoted a price of $217 and some change for two night on thier wedsite and reserved the room which at the front desk changed to a price of $375.00 we said no but he ran our card anyway. The room was very dirty - scum on the shower wall,carpet was horrible, hotel was loud and nosiy all night, air-conditioning didn't work, roaches in the room, and it was 99 degrees at 3 am. This was supposed to be a golf package deal - which really is after you stay at the hotel they give you a voucher to play golf which most golf courses do not take - what a joke. The next morning we talked to the new GM who said he would issue a credit, which he did and then on 7-17-07 charged our card agin for the stay which meant another phone call and more aggreviation. We travel somewhere just about every weekend and usually get a golf or spa package - never had to get a voucher to use at a later date - what a rip-off and this was truely a never-ending nightmare - BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! We did end up at the La Quinta Resort and Spa which was a blessing after this ordeal. Golf package for about the same price and got to play at PGA West Staduim course - well worth it!!

this place is a dump. the staff is rude, the rooms are dirty. we had to go to the hospital since there was a "chemical spill". it was the worst experience we had ever had.

all very friendly peoples, specially in the coffee shop. we did not like having to ask the front desk for towels, also was no body cream in the bathroom.
