Excellent location, Great service!
By JB, 11/06/09
Hotel has a fantastic location within walking distance to the river, the California State Railroad Museum, downtown Sacramento, and Old Sacramento. The service was very courteous and professional. On the down side, the rooms are a bit dated, but overall, it is a very nice hotel and was worth the money for us and for our two young kids.

By Harmonys Echo☼, 10/26/09
I and my daughter spent around 6 weeks in a suite here while conducting business in CA... The service and food was absolutely incredible... they were so hospitable to my girl as far as giving her a goodbye card and gift.... Will definately be returning

Simply Perfect
By Crystal, 06/18/09
My partner and I were planning a trip up to Tahoe and needed a place to stay for the night, and luckily we chose the perfect hotel in Sacramento. The staff was friendly and helpful, the view of the river was simply picturesque, the Tower Bridge Bistro was delicious. I have to admit that I wasn't too pleased about the $25 valet parking charge, but I suppose it's not to bad when the only other area parking is $24 and you can't take it in or out as you please. A couple special thanks: Clay for such a wonderful dinner, Annie for being such a pleasure at check-in, David for help at bell service, and Mark for just about everything else including getting us that perfect room! Definately stay at this hotel, they'll take great care of you!

Lost reservation on wedding night & rude staff
By justme, 05/25/09
Lost the reservation for the bride and groom on their wedding night and rather than to apologize profusely to the bride and groom who were standing around in the wedding attire the person behind the desk was rude and unapologetic for the unforgiveable error.

Car burglarized using valet
By Willie, 05/11/09
Although this hotel is well maintained, & has some nice features I had a terrible experience staying here. I arrived at the hotel & used the valet service around 9PM. At 6AM the following morning my car was returned to me in a very different condition. Although there was no exterior damage to the car, many items from the interior of the car were missing including the stereo. The morning security person notified me that the hotel is parking cars in city parking garages in bad parts of town, & that burglaries are very common. The hotel manager will not return my repeated calls. I have never had such a bad experience at a hotel. If you stay in this hotel do not trust the staff, & don't use the valet.

Lovely place, Terrible Service!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/01/08
Food was the highlight of it all!!! The service was terrible! The worst I have ever experienced!!! They overcharged me, they took sooo long to check us in. The second day I tried ordering room service and they told us we weren't even in their system!! I had to go downstairs and speak to a manager! And they were soo rude about it!!!

Nice location
By Tracy, 05/31/06
Embassy Suites does it right. The hotel in Sacramento was very nice. The location by the river was great. The evening reception was good, the bartender was excellent. When I go back to Sacramento I will stay here again.
