I love this place. Wonderful solitude away from the noise and traffic of the main drag. Great view overlooking a Heavenly ski run. Convenient underground parking so your car stays dry and doesn't get snowed in. Elevator to schelp your stuff upstairs, recreation room, gym, hot tub. Clean, well appointed.

The facilities are very comfortable, neat and clean, and the view is gorgeous. The hotel is convenient to ski facilites, and there are many other activities nearby at Lake Tahoe, Carson City, and Virginia City.

The view from this place is amazing. It overlooks ski lift and slopes at Heavenly! You never have to drive while your there. The building is part of "The Ridge" which includes a free gondola ride to Heavenly, an indoor outdoor combo pool, saunas, tennis, etc, etc. Its all there. The rooms are full on suites, with in room jacuzzi, washer and dryer, ski lockers, fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable. Only downside is that its not near shopping, its' best to pick up your groceries on the way in.

I am also a owner at Ridge Pointe. We have enjoyed the time that we have spent there. While there isn't much in the way of service facilities on site, the accomodations are very enjoyable. We have never had a problem and look forward to returning.

I agree with the previous writer. I too am a timeshare owner at the Ridge Pointe. When I was last there, I stayed in the "executive suite". The "hotel" accomodation (joining section) had people in it that smoked. The smell of smoke came right through the walls that it was even difficult to sleep. I have Asthma and it effected me all week. It has fallen short in my opinion as a 5 star state of the art resort.
