Hampton Inn Covington La, Covington

The bathroom in both of our rooms was filthy. There was hair everywhere, in the sink, bathtub, and all over the floor. There was dried urine on the bottom of the toilets, The air conditioner vent was covered in lint. I reported the dirty conditions to the desk clerk that night (Brad). He was courteous and said he would make a note of my complaint, but I needed to tell the front desk clerk the following morning (we would have left the hotel, but our grandchildren had already fallen asleep). When I reported the conditions to the front desk clerk the next morning (Jack), he was so rude, even asking, "How do we know you didn't put it there yourself?" They did finally refund my money, but I was greatly offended by their rudeness and disappointed the manager never made an effort to talk directly to me to help resolve the issue. I'm still waiting to hear from corporate as to a final resolution to this horrible experience.

Me and my husband made reservations,for our 1 year anniversery, for a king suite with a jucuzzi over a month and a half in advance. When we got to the hotel we found out they were "over-booked" and offered us another room without a jucuzzi for a lower price. That was just wrong. We reserved that room with our credit card and we lost it because somebody didn't do their job right! We ended up going home because no other hotels had a room open that we wanted.
