Best in area,even for price
Only thing I didn't like was the Manager, maybe owner was always lurking about. This gives the impression that the hotel needs security. He was also not letting the girls at the desk do their work by bugging them while people were at the counter (talk about his lack of customer service). The staff themselves were great especially Katrina and Gwen, though Nomei needed to learn a bit about team work, heard her down talking Katrina in front of others.
The rooms were great!!! Pool looked inviting though it was storming we could not take advantage of it.
Breakfast was wonderful, hot items, fully stocked, clean. The lady who was running the breakfast was wonderful, a real Gem, she went out of her way to make sure it was clean, stocked, and EVERYBODY had what they needed, if they didn't have it she found it.
Bedding and linens were a dream for hotel towels (very big). There is your choice of soft or firm pillows in the rooms. FREE bottles of water in the rooms. This hotel does not nickel and dime everything... that was so wonderful.
Again, Katrina was the best I have seen in a long time. I actually thought she was the Manager, she was on top of things, made sure she followed up on what you ask for. Very helpful girl.....she is a diamond in the rough. I hope the Company sees this in her.
The only real complaint other than a few of the workers/management would be the wireless internet connection is not reliable. Other than that this is the best place to stay, even for the $100 plus they charge... heck with all the freebies you get out of them it more than makes up for the price though.
