St Maurice Motel, Hollywood

Excellent location. Tina and Bruce are laid back and have one hell of a job keeping this place up. It is old and is as in need of cleaning, repairs and renovations as an old run down motel can be. I chose it and liked it my wife was not pleased. I can no longer pick a hotel room for future vacations or for any other reasons. I'm happy to say I made it past Christmas but I had to buy her parents a big screen TV with the money I saved. Perhaps I can reach a compromise and book the Hilton she further demands but only during hurricane season. Hiltons are well built and should be able to accomodate a little southern excitement. We did have a great time in Hollywood and I learned much about trying to save a little money. She'll only spend it later.

The place is tiny and out of the 50's, but the location is awesome and the parking is very reasonable. This boardwalk is second to none in the area. The room was not very clean and most of the stuff in it didn't work real well. Noisy air that was really undersized for Fla heat. My wife was not real comfortable with the bed linens or towels.

I have stayed with them over a dozen drifferent time always have found best vaule for the dollar I can not said any thing bad about the hotel or the pepole in charge Their location is great everything you could need is very close at hand As I travel to hollywood beach three times a year this is where i always chose to stay
