Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport, Mississauga

They charged extra 200 dollars for smoking inside of the room. But, whos going to smoke in "non-smoking" room? Does it make sense? So I asked the manager about the evidence or the proof of it. However, they were saying the house keeper detected by just a smell! If the customer smokes inside of the room, the detector must be alarmed or the smell must be spreaded to hallway too! They were just charged with their sense of nose. At the moment, I felt a kind of racism too! I want to ask them if the customer who gives out a bad smell, are you going to charge extra 200 dollars for removing odor inside of the room? Huh? Please be wise with a proper reason or policy. Not just by sense of human! I spent several days to get a refund. I wasted a lot of my extra time for only 80 dollar worth room!

We arrived Christmas Eve 2009 for our flight on Christmas Day. I found a great deal with my CAA membership (on Hilton's website) for hotel, internet and 8 days of parking for LESS then the price fo what we paid for parking for a 3 day mini weekend vacation in Dec. Parking is in a garage which is wonderful for this snowy, icy weather. The food is excellent. It's very easy to find, close to the airport and has a beautiful pool area. The hotel is clean, the beds are great, and it's quite impressive all round. Everything about it is first class. Thank you Hilton Garden!!

I love the location , the room was clean the staff was wonderful The reastaunt was great, the breakfast was the best. I look forward to visit the Inn again

Clean rooms, quiet, very freindly staff, you could tell the establishement is run with pride. Very comfortable beds, better sleep than I have at home. Truly looked forward to my hotel room after the work was done to unwind and truly relax. Nice pool area, decent sized gym. Surprised that breakfast was not included in the price, but great buffet downstairs!! A bit far from DT Toronto. Would be nice to offer a shuttle once daily (for a nominal fee) for people who would like to visit Toronto without dishing out 50.00 for a cab. Overall, will definitely recommend to freinds.

Don't trust the reservation system. I was recommended this hotel for staying at during my son's soccer tournament. As I was coming with my family I specifically asked for a room with 2 double beds to accomodate my family. After waiting 15 minutes in line to check in, I found that all they had was a room with a king size bed. The room type I had specifically reserved was not available. After I griped about the lack of reservation committment, I got a cot with the fee waived. This cot was VERY narrow for a 10 year old boy to sleep on and was DUMPED in our room...no offer to move furniture to accomodate it or to make it up. The next day I complained to the manager about his staff and the reservation system and did get the room for half price. All I can say is that it was a good thing that last moment my husband could not join us for it would have been impossible for a family of 4 to stay in this room. Later, I discovered that this room had been offered to AT LEAST 2 other families of our soccer league and they managed to find appropriate rooms for them after they complained. The next morning we visited the pool, only to find it filthy. The water was murky and had hair clumps in it and there were used towels everywhere and no clean towels. Needless to say, my family will not be staying at the Hilton family of hotels again if this is representative of what to expect...can't trust the reservation, rudeness of staff, lack of service and a filthy pool.

Not only was I professionally greeted, but the room was tidy, nicely appointed, and the room service and restaurant had great food for the value. The rooms were also very quiet (well insulated from hallway and motor noise). I slept like a baby and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Mississauga.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Hilton Garden Inn is the best franchise deal going. My stay here was recreational, which makes downtown Toronto more work, but the savings are there. This is a newer, very clean hotel with top-notch staff. If you don't mind the trek to downtown, the price and free parking make this very affordable.
