Holiday Inn Express, Morgantown

We just got back from a stay at the HI Express in Morgantown. The only complaint would be the walls are VERY thin which I'd imagine is why they have a policy posted about children running the halls. We had a room on the 2nd floor directly in front of the elevator (212) and was worried about the elevator being noisy but that wasn't the problem at all it was our neighbors in the room next door who thought it was okay to slam doors, scream, cackle and party till 1am keeping my kids awake or waking them up once they had fallen asleep. My only complaints would be I complained to the front desk and was told they'd be up to address the situation and I was listening and never heard anyone come up to tell them to zip it and the loudness continued over an hour and half after my complaint. But at 2am my baby woke up so maybe the few minutes of her screaming was enough payback to bug them. My other complaint would be when we went into our room there was a pair of underwear someone left next to the coffeemaker it was bright pink how they missed it I don't know. Breakfast was great, pool was great, parking not a problem. Very safe place like I said the baby woke up at 2am so to be considerate of those sleeping I took her down to the lobby to look at the trees and crawl around and it was all good. My mom is VERY picky when it comes to hotels and was not thrilled with what I booked but she LOVED it and says she will be much more open to staying at this brand again. We had the displeasure of visiting at the Hotel Morgantown and the minute you walked into the place it smelled like pets and mold so it was very nice to go back to our nice newly remodeled smoke free pet free hotel.

The staff are always friendly, the free breakfast buffet is wonderful and the rooms are always clean. Plenty of parking is available and you can walk to several restaurants easily. Great Job Holiday Inn !! B.

I stayed at the holiday inn express during the most recent football game in dec. The GM Gabriel is hott!!! The staff was freindly and the hotel was very clean. I'll go back for sure to stare at him! I recomned this hotel to anyone.

We were really excited with the hot breakfast bar, it was fabulous, there was so much to chose from! Kids had a great time in the pool, hot tub, and workout room. Room was a nice size. Would go back again!

I have stayed at the Holiday day inn express here in Morgantown WV about 6 times while visiting my brother. I prefer this hotel over the others in the area because it was nice, enjoyable, relaxing, comfortable. I like the workout area, the pool and the complimentary breakfast. Everything is easily accessible. They have a great view and it is located next to shopping and dining right within walking distance. No matter what time of year it is, this has always been a great spot and My family and I will be visiting again this winter.

We chose this hotel because the rooms, bed linens and bathroom feel clean and fresh. the hotel is in a complex of restaurants/shopping and near the hospital where our loved one is staying. a fridge and microwave were another appreciated amenity. we would stay here again.

I had to come down to Morgantown for a work meeting and I decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The room was huge, very clean and comfortable! I liked how the bedding was a new "style", where you didn't have to worry about who slept in it the night before! The breakfast the next morning was really good. I also wish I tried out the pool. But I know for a fact anytime I go back down there that I will for sure stay there! :o)

This motel had everything we were looking for! Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was outstanding right down to the biscuits and sausage gravy! The staff was informative and friendly.
