dissapointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/09
Requested a non smoking rm when booked and they said there was only smoking rooms as we checked in so we took that not by choice. We went to the room and it was disgusting dirty. Food still in the room and i won't even tell u what else. We had to go back to the front desk and tell them we wanted another room. What a hassel! Still not happy because i have been sick and don't need to smell all that nicotine. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!! I might even have to report them

Why is this advertised at $99/night on travel.yahoo.com when you find out in reality it is $185.60 per night? False and deceptive advertising?

So-So
By tiffanyM, 06/14/08
The staff working at the La Quinta Inn was great. Very personable and helpful with all of our touristy questions. In fact, one of the gals working at the desk worked at another inn we were staying at on our trip. The place was going through some renovations, painting, etc. so it was a mess, stinky and kind of hectic. That was a turn off. The first room they sent us to smelled like an ash tray. The front desk was very accommodating and gave us another room right away. For the price....it was all right. I'll probably stay elsewhere next time. My biggest compliments go to the staff...

La Quinta Inn - Somerville
By YankeeInTheQC, 02/24/07
This hotel was a pleasant stay for myself and my 3 children. The rates were very good, ample aprking and the 99 restaraunt is right next to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, the rooms were clean and had no problems with any of the appliances. The only issue I had was the 'pool' was actually a large hot tub, about the size of a full-size sedan! Other than that, I'd stay here again when visiting Boston.

Customer Service Lacking
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/06
Beware their supposed shuttle service. Despite the fact the hotel was a clean enough, I would never stay here again based on their complete lack of customer service. Two hours before we needed their free shuttle to the airport, we went to the front desk to ask about it and was told all shuttles were full until an hour after we needed one. Wouldn't pay for a cab, they never apologized, just said they couldn't help us and someone should have told us that when we checked in. They were so unfriendly and unresponsive that it was laughable when they seemed surprised that we asked for the phone number for corporate (who by the way were VERY helpful). There are a ton of other similar hotels in the area - stay at one of those.

Everything we needed!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/16/06
This hotel is a great location for exploring Boston. Hotel rates are much more reasonable here just north of town than anything in the downtown area. The hotel had excellent shuttle service from the airport and also to the "T" station. (You could walk there, but it's about 3/4 mi. through an industrial park - o.k. during the day but questionable at night.)The nearby "T" station "Sullivan Square" is only two stops from the north end of the "Freedon Trail." The staff was very helpful, the rooms were quite clean and new and VERY soundproof - though the highway is 2 blocks away! The hotel was full but the staff was unrattled by it. Great place to stay!

As "Tage" was best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/02/06
We stayed there several times when it was the "Tage". The best service that you could find. Always accommodating. We stayed there because we didn't need to drive our car anywhere and service and price were great.

Looking forward to our return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/06
Very clean and well presented hotel, with friendly staff, always willing to assist. Complimentary breakfast was more than adequate, and free shuttle service into the city and hospitals was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel to all looking for a reasonably priced hotel.
