Taharaa Mountain Lodge, Estes Park

This place is THE place to stay in Estes Park! The owners treat you like family and do their very best to make sure that your stay is memorable. You have the "run" of this wonderfully decorated place and the service is excellent!. We stayed in the Taharaa Suite and it was first class all the way. Ken and Diana are excellent hosts and really know what travelers want in their stay. Perfect place!

After much internet research we decided to stay at Taharaa for four nights around the 4th of July. Best lodging decision we've ever made. Taharaa is listed as a B&B but it's more like a small hotel with a great breakfast. Customer service was absolutely fantastic. When we arrived, the owners, Diane and Ken, immediately made us feel at home. We started with a delicious glass of merlot and met several of the other guests at the complimentary cocktail hour (5:30-6:30 pm. The innkeeper for the evening, Pam, asked if we had dinner plans for the next few days....she recommended several local restaurants and made the reservations for us...all were great choices. Next morning we weren't sure what to expect for breakfast...we've had complimentary breakfasts before and have never been happy with them...this, however, was a different story entirely. Diane cooks up wonderful breakfasts, different every day and accompanied with fresh fruit, granola, fresh coffee, several juices and pastries. Plenty of nutritious food to get a good start on the RMNP hikes! This was our home for five days in Estes park and I can't imagine a better experience...Taharaa is the only place we've ever stayed where the owner gave us a big hug when we left! Truly, the only place to consider in Estes Park

What a great experience my husband and I had at this B&B. The breakfasts were sooo good. The owner made us feel like we were old friends. They definately aim to please here. Our room was beautifully decorated as well as the rest of the lodge. Would definately go back in a heartbeat!!

The best B&B we've ever stayed at. Unbelievable breakfasts. Great Happy Hour. Owners were really great hosts. Beautiful reviews. Incredible room. Nice and quiet. 5* for sure.

My husband and I got married on May 18, 2007 inside of Rocky Mountain National Park and stayed at the Taharaa Mountain lodge for our honeymoon, and it was remarkable! The owners are absolutely wonderful and I will return every year if possible. I noticed someone else mentioned that the owners were rude, but that is not true at all. My guess is their wedding guests were rude and obnoxious and the owners were trying to make the rest of their guest’s stay as enjoyable as possible.

We got married at Taharaa in May and would not recommend it to anyone! The owner Diane was very rude to our guests and family attending the wedding. She also gave our credit card information to another company without permission. Skip Taharaa, there are plenty of better places in Estes in stay or get married!

I visited Taharaa as a wedding guest and was overwhelmed with the service and hospitality both during the reception and our stay in the Lodge. I would look forward to a return visit when I have more time to enjoy the amenities of the Lodge.

Ken & Diane are wonderful hosts for a beautiful property. They, together with their staff have a 5 star hotel. My niece was married there August 7 and it was a first class affair. Such a beautiful setting for a beautiful couple! I would go back and stay anytime.

I love the complimentary happy hour and the great Breakfast. I can't wait to go back! The owner is a bit eccentric but overall wonderful.
