5 reviews for Sorrel River Ranch Resort, Moab
Overated and low value for price
By brad, 04/28/09
Basically it is beautiful location and have the amenities of a fine hotel but their service is lacking and management could care less if you come back again. I paid more for this hotel than the Four Seasons in Scottsdale during the same trip and really just got nice views and an above average restaurant. When our son was not well we had to check out a day earlier and management would not credit us a day in the future. If they did we would probably go back again and extend the stay and they would make more money, but they didn't care if we came back. I wish we spent three more days at the Four Seasons which was fantastic

our fave Southern Utah getaway!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/08
An ongoing love affair with sorrel river- we love this place so much that we decided to get married there in October. Our family and friends who flew from both the east and west coasts were absolutely floored by the location, the rooms, the restaurant & food, as well as the staff's friendliness and attentiveness. we couldn't be happier with the experience either. We've stayed at Sorrel river probably a total of 8 times over the last couple of years, since we go to Moab a lot every spring and fall for mountain biking. Jumping into the jacuzzi tubs after a long day of riding and sleeping on a large, comfy king bed is a luxury we've grown accustomed to. No more camping or cheap moab hotels for us anymore!

The Perfect Vacation
By Radio, 05/16/05
My husband and I can't say enough about Sorrel River Ranch and the Spa there. We were pampered and loved every minute there. Our room had breathtaking views of the river and was very luxurious (we want one of their porch swings). The resort was very quiet and there were lots of things to do - we did the horseback trail ride and next time we'll try the rafting. Arches N.P. was close by too. Definitely a place to go back to. Amazingly beautiful and relaxing. Five stars all the way!

Great place without the stuffed shirts
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/04/05
The hotel is in a beautiful location but management needs to lighten up a bit. We felt like we were imposing on them when we were staying there. I don't think I would go back.
