Beautiful mountain lodge on the shores of Lake Estes with spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains, with spacious guest rooms with down comforters, flat screen TVs, mini refrigerators, hairdryers, and work desks with wireless internet. Most rooms offer balconies with views of the lake and the Rocky Mountains. The lodge has an onsite restaurant and lounge with indoor and outdoor seating. Amenities include indoor pool with hot tub, fitness center, and game room. There is a Conference facility available for parties up to 200 people with full catering services. Lake Shore Lodge is an incredible wedding location offering picturesque views. The lodge is walking distance to the town of Estes Park and only 6 miles to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Lake Shore Lodge is adjacent to the marina, offering a wide variety of outdoor activities and adventure.

Nice Rate amazing View!

View is to die for of the Mountains and the Lake. The pool was small but just perfect for our kids. We had a nice stay. Beds very comfortable. I also got a great deal I recommend this mountain lodge. Staff is friendly and helpful as well. I has pleasantly pleased with our stay.

DON'T DO IT.....

This lodge is overpriced and dirty. Our room had debris from previous guest several places, cobwebs and dust were plentiful. The game room and exercise room were down right dirty. Our advice is don't book a room here.

A Big disappointment

The rooms were not very clean and not worth the money we paid ...No HBO...dinning area was nice and clean but they ran out of food every morning we had breakfast there. Someone went through my luggage and took my i pod...which I didn't notice until we had gotten back home. I did call about it and they said they would call back but never did. This is like a one or barely two star hotel. For the price you pay not worth it. Will not go back. The location was the only good point.

Avoid this Dump!

We were on our honeymoon, checked in for 2 nights at premium season prices. The toilet handle was broken, we were told it would be fixed before we returned from dinner. (this was never fixed.) The toilet handle, shower head, air conditioning unit, the torn ripped up couch, and get this, the railings and post out on the balcony were all broken! We tried to talk to the manager the next morning, left a voice mail even and when we went to the front desk, we were told the manager was busy with other guests. The manager was 4 feet away, and would not give us the time of day. We checked out (no discount, of course) and stayed elsewhere right down the road and thoroughly enjoyed another hotel. Avoid this hotel, the value was not worth the price. The rude staff was anything but helpful. We won't go back there again, and would not recommend to anyone.

Duped

Just stayed at the Lake Shore Lodge for 4th of July. We had a family get together with 5 rooms purchased. 2 of the rooms were purchased back in January and my brother-in-law drove in person to pay in cash to make sure they would get 2 rooms adjoining. He was told no problem. 2 more rooms were purchased in March and we also asked for adjoining, told no problem. When we got there we were told (very rudely) we could not have adjoining rooms. So much for our family get together. Had lunch in the dining room, had to wait a long time for the food and there was hardly anyone in there. They kept running out of food for the breakfast. I will never go back!

Avoid Lake Shore Lodge

We stayed at Lake Shore Lodge with a large group. In general, the lodge accomodations were adequate, but the original quote was not honored. When attempting to resolve the issue with the billing department, we were told that there was a "mistake" in the original quote and to pay the higher bill or expect to deal with a collections agency. Be aware that Lake Shore Lodge is owned by Estes Valley Resorts who also own Aspen Lodge and Lake Estes Inn & Suites. It is my understanding that they were recently sold and are under new management. There are many other places to stay in Estes Park.....

Just being on the water was great' our kids had a blast in the pool; and game room; one of the best in estes park to stay'Great job everyone'.

would recommend this hotel. new and lots of space, the food is good, service was great and loved eating at the tables around the lake. indoor pool was nice too

Loved it, good food, clean rooms wonderful views. Alittle hard to find. The resturant was wonderful and the bar good but not very big. great tables by the lake.
