Rocco Forte De Russie, Rome

Definitely was a pleasant place to stay! My room view was great and so was the breakfast! If any of u wanna save money on it tho I'd suggest using SweetHotelDeals. Net They have some really good prices on there!!

We recently returned from a two week trip to Italy where we began our travels in Rome staying at the Hotel de Russie. This was a wonderful property in a great location with attentive staff. The room was very large, especially by European standards, and had a very nice bathroom. The spa was a wonderful respite from a long overnight trip from the US and the extensive walking we did while in Rome!

This peaceful, charming hotel caters to your every whim. Our suite was large and every detail looked after. The breakfast room, with patio, was memorable. And the staff was at our beck and call. We loved it!

I've never actually stayed at the Hotel de Russie but I always recommend that people go have drinks at their patio bar. It's a beautiful place to spend an evening.

I loved it. A few problems though: Very weak spa( My friend had a terrible massage and they did nothing to accomodate her). On our last day we left money for the maid. We left for breakfast and when we returned the money was gone. The maids were not around so we assumed it was a bellman who saw us leave. Very disconcerting. No ammenities. Not even a piece of fruit. Other than these issues I felt that the location and the setting were spectacular. I would still go back but would be more demanding.

i clasify this hotel as one of the nicest hotel i ever stayed..They have a nice and accomodating staffs . they can communicate well, and assist you what ever you needed..Have good views from outside and nice and good taste complimentary meals. Clean and orderliness with thier facilities , cozy rooms that gives relaxing moods.You can stay here as same accomodations of other 5* hotels..

It was one of our highlights in Rome. Service and employees are all 5 star. In fact, we moved to a different hotel during our stay and came back twice to have lunch and sit in the courtyard. Food quality...we found none better during our two week stay in Italy.

Loved the location, garden and the beautiful rooms. The hotel felt at times a bit stuffy and the front desk and concierge didn't seem as attentive as they could have been. GO IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT.

This old refurbished Palazzo is probably one of the best hotels in Rome. It is centrally located in the heart of the Shopping district and steps away from Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna. The splendour of the Renaissance is coupled with modern-day technology which produces a sleek and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are exquisitely appointed in beautiful tiles and marble. The service by the staff and the amenities in the hotel are superb and the staff caters to your smallest request, be it a reservation for dinner, a car or taxi or anything else you may need. Massages at the spa are excellent and the public rooms are set in a relaxing atmosphere. History lives right down Via del Babuino where Princess Carolyn Sayn-Wittgenstein lived, the mistress and companion of the famed pianist Franz Liszt.
