Quality Inn Farmington, Farmington

I was very upset with the service . Our room was booked 6 months in advance for this event. We arrived and found that our room had been given to someone else . The manager was not going to honor our Hot Wire confirmation # . He said he would "work with me at a price $45 more than what was already booked." There were other rodeo folks from Utah and Idaho with similar stories. The Mgr turned to his desk attendant and start speaking spanish for awhile ,then turn back to me and my wife and said "It looks like bad luck for you." "Your confirmation printout is worthless" I was simmering mad but kept my cool because we had already paid long ago for a weeks stay here. We finally was given a room for 1 nite after about 90 minutes of argueing and having Hot Wire on the phone twice. We were told that tomorrow and rest of the week and price would have to settled later. I'm just writing this to warn next year's rodeo finals travelers . These were the rudest , most dishonest, inconsiderate Motel staff that I have ever encountered ,and we have traveled across our wonderful nation 3 times. This rodeo event brought in over 1800 families from Florida to Alaska to Farmington N.M. You would think this Mgr would be thrilled to have every bed filled. Much $$ coming to their town. Days Inn needs to address this manager "Amish"
