No drainage

I stayed at the Western Skies in Las Lunas on March 14th 2008. The drain in the sink and tub would not drain. I was not supposed to be charged, but I was and when I tried to settle this they said the tub plug was in. Yeh I can't see that. It also did not explain the sink. They won't refund any money and gave me a bogus e-mail address. I am a ship Captain and used to travel. NEVER had I ever experienced such a poor quality hotel. Total lack of respect and no customer satisfaction. There are other hotels to stay at locally so I reccomend you do. I can't believe they are trying to put this on me. WOW!!! You've been warned. I will continue to warn until I get reimbursed. Capt. Rex Gallant

Good place to stay in Los Lunas

I've been here twice, and glad to have stayed here. Friendly quiet place. I've also stayed at the Days Inn across the highway, and it was much more noisy. People who know, go to Western Skies. You'll notice that it's often booked to capacity.

Super-Friendly Staff and Nice Room!

Every staff member we spoke to while here was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and smelled good. The Air Conditioner was not very powerful, but I attributed this to the local climate not normally being very hot. The wireless internet signal would not reach me consistently half-way down the hall. I think they only had a single Linksys Router or Access Point. The breakfast was well-stocked and maintained by the same friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the Los Lunas, NM area. If you're driving the "old" Route 66, this will be on your way.
