Super 8 Morgantown, Morgantown

We were in for our son's college graduation and stayed at this Super 8. Our non smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke, as a matter of fact, the whole hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. Upon check-out we realized we had been charged an extra night. We were told it was a computer problem. Unfortunately, no one on staff could fix or credit my charge card. ( But they were certainly authorized to charge it!)I have been in contact numerous times but have been told, the owner, Dax Patel, is away indefinitely! Working with my credit card company now. Found out friends of ours who stayed there also, were over charged too! So far, no refunds in sight! Will never stay there again!

The location of the hotel was perfect we were traveling from Canada and we decided to stop driving for night and stayed at the super 8. There were many restaurants close to the hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and there was continental breakfast available. Overall it is very affordable, clean, and location friendly.

Sad Fact, we did enjoy our time here, until we got home, and discovered that the clerk did not follow our instructions on the card to use for payment, I used my # to hold the room, while we were in transit, upon arrival my girlfriend gave them her visa and changed the name on the reservation to hers, they imprinted her card, never saw mine or imprinted it, my card goes to my checking, we had booked two rooms for 2 nights, the day after we got home I was checking my account on line and to my shock, they did not do as instructed and charged the rooms to my card, which caused a mess, to the tune of 8 NSF fees @ 33.00 each, I called several times and got the run around for 2 days, finally had to call the corp. office to lodge a complaint, they gave me the mgr’s phone # so I called him, long story shot he did credit my account on room charges and switched to where they were told to do on arrival, but he refuses to reimburse me on the NSF fee’s there mistake caused, in addition to the complaint at corp. office we have also opened a complaint with the BBB and the West Va, Atty General Office. According to his staff this mgr runs his business like this all the time and never calls back anyone who has a complaint.. WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN…

Stayed at Super 8 for a Top Flight Jr. Tour Golf outing, the room was spacious, clean and the staff was very friendly. We need extra towels and they were delivered very quickly, and when we checked out and i had forgotten something in my room they quickly gave me a key card so i could return for the missing items. The breakfast isn't the greatest, but it is better than none at all. Will most likely stay there again next year for our event. It was close to the golf course, the mall, and several restaurants. Thanks to the staff

We stayed at this hotel due to my son having a doctor's visit. After a five-hour drive, we were rather tired and didn't want to drive far to find dinner. You can't beat the location it is near many restaurants and stores. The staff was so friendly!!!! I really enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a family-oriented hotel to stay at for my son's upcoming appointments and we have found it. We will continue to stay at the Super 8, we couldn't have asked for a more comfortable room, pleasing atmosphere, and a staff that operated in a spirit of excellence.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was very convienent. Everything was around the hotel, and it was right off of the highway. It was really clean, and the front desk clerk was very nice and also helpful.

very nice room to stay in I have stayed in your estabilshment a couple times and enjoyed the area, the motel is is in a very locale.
