Hotel Be Live Canoa, La Romana

We vacationed at Coral Canoa for our honeymoon & loved it. The beach will take your breath away and the pool was relaxing. Bring your own pool float. We loved the swim up bar!!! Our room was spacious and clean.The food was delicious and there was a large selection for every meal at the buffet. If you choose one of the a la cart restaurants (Italian, Tex-Mex, or Dominican), get there by 7:30 or you may be turned away due to seating restrictions. There isn't a reservation system in place. You can get snacks & drinks at the snack bar by the pool 24 hours a day!We were very entertained by the Chocolate Friends, especially Cappacino (a.k.a. Al Pacino) and Piki Piki. They both got us dancing!! The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The shows offered in the theater were good, and there are theme parties offered throughout the week. We recommend the snorkeling excursion to Bayahibe beach for $18.00 pp. and the dune buggy rides with Prieto Tours. You can register for this in the lobby with Eddy Garcia. We went through the sugar cane fields on the buggy & swam in the Chavon River! Come with intentions to have a blast!!!!

The service of this resort was very unwelcoming...mangement had very poor customer service however their employees were attentive...our rooms were not ready when we checked in at 6pm and had to wait an hour more for the rooms...that was uncalled for after a long drive from punta cana airport there...and once we got the room they were not tidy...we had to ask for the necessecities that should of been in the room before it was given to us....their snack bar service is suppose to be open 24hours however when we asked for food it was too much of a problem for them to service us....although we had a bad experience with our stay at this resort the beach was beautiful and relaxing however they need to work harder on making their guests welcomed...

If I could go on another vacation I'd definitely go back to the Canoa Coral. If you end up going, talk to Richard (Scuba Diving Instructor) He'll hook you up :P

I LOVED THE HOTEL, THE EMPLOYEES THE FOOD THE ACTIVITIES, IT IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST TRIPS THAT I HAVE BEEN ON, AND WILL DEFINITELY GO AGAIN. PROBABLY THIS SUMMER.

We loved everything about it. The food was amazing, the entertainment was awesome. There was lots of things for the kids to do. Only thing that could be improved is to have the kids club start at 2 yrs old not 3. Other than that, It was fabulous

great for the kids, fun for all. Always something to do. Great rooms and service, i highly reccomend it. All resturanuts were great and had something the kids liked to eat too.

We spent 3/22 to 4/5/06 at this resort and it was simply awesome! The water was amazing! turquise in color and so warm. I had no problem spending most of my days on the beach under the palm trees. There are definitely things to do if you want to get involved, or simply relax and enjoy the sun or watch the volleyball games, aerobics or dance lessons. And oh my gosh those Chocolate Friends! These guys and gals work hard to make sure you have fun! and they can probably speak your language too. Gilberto, Jesus and Andres...Thanks for the dance lessons, Disco was never so much fun! A few tips...Get involved and have a ball! What are the chances you'll see any of these people again anyway! Go to the nightly shows, they're definitely entertaining! Don't call international from the room phone, even if you have a calling card, their connection fee was $2.00 a minute..imaging my surprise at checkout. There was no notice anywhere of any such fees, so beware! Don't pay the asking price for anything sold by the vendors (on the resort or off). I talked them down at least $130.00 dollars each time, no lie! And finally, you'll get out of this vacation what you put into it. If you're bored then it's your own fault. There is always something going on if you want to participate, if not there's always archery, snorkling, kayaking, ping pong, board games, books and all for free! Don't forget to check out the parasailing! We can't wait to go back!

I Loved the place!! I can�t wait to go back and I soo miss it! The weather was lovelly and the hotell was the best I�ve been att. They had lovely restaurants but the best was La Piragua. The buff� restaurant. They had faboulos food. The chocolate friends were very good and entertaining there was always something happining. Whether it was aerobics, dans, volleyboll ore games it was fun, and they are very hot! The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I would ove to go back!

We were at the Canoa from 2/20/06 to 2/27/06 and I must see it was a great experience. Best all inclusive vacation I've ever had. Great staff, great food. And boy those Chocalate Friends were awesome. Hope to be back soon.

I've spend two week all incusive holidays in this hotel and I wouldn't recoment it to anybody. Dirty rooms, dirty pool etc. During the week we have changed the room 3 times because it was flooded. In the last room we stayed during the rush hours there was no water !
