The best views and service along the Amalfi Coast!
By Chris, 8/7/09
This hotel is worth every penny! I can not say enough about the service, the location and the view!!!!!!!!! I have been to many upscale hotels in my life but this exceeded all expectations. The staff took care of us like we were royalty and treated us like we were family. My now beautiful bride and I decided to run away last year and get married in Italy. Lucky for us, an incredible wedding coordinator we found on the internet suggested a small town on the Amalfi coast. She told us it was not far from the more popular town of Positano but it would be less crowed and more romantic. She could not have been more right. When in Ravello you plan on spending a quite time relaxing by the pool enjoying the incredible view of the coast or walking through the incredible gardens. The people of Ravello are incredibly friendly and there is plenty of places to shop for ceramics. If you are more adventurists I recommend renting a scooter and driving 20 minutes North to the town of Amalfi or 40 minutes North to Positano. If you are real daring you can take it to Sorrento to look at the lemon trees. Just watch out for the steep cliffs, narrow roads and large tour buses. What ever your need the staff at the Palazzo Sasso will handle it for you. They help to make our wedding the most incredible moment of our life.

wonderful!
By Meryem, 4/10/06
There's not much to see in Ravello, you can see the whole town in a day. Luckily there are other nearby towns to visit, such as Amalfi and Positano, Pompei wasn't too far either. The hotel Palazzo Sasso is wonderful. It has an amazing view over the sea, the staff are very concientious and attentive, the hospitality and friendliness were typical of so many italian stereotypes, the good ones! The front desk had wonderful ideas as far as what we could do, where we could go, how long it would take us, where we could eat, etc. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable. The rest of the hotel had a nice homey feel and was clean as well. This is one of the more expensive hotels in Ravello from what I understand, so it may not be the first choice for a lot of people, but if it will fit into your budget, I really do recommend it.
