Asmara Hotel, Asmara

I love the hotel,the staff were friendly and the service was quite good and food was very good, especially eritrean food. The location is very convenient and has a great view of the countryside. Its the best hotel in africa. I had wonderful time in eritrea. Not to mantion eritrean women are beautiful.

I liked everything about it and it was beutiful.It had an upstairs mini mall and the service was like I could be free with food!

the hotel is the best in eritrea and one of the best in africa.while in my stay in the hotel i was given excellent service and the experince is one i will never forget it will always last in my mind.the prise is fablous if you are from a developed nation and i thought it was cheap compered two other hotels with the same standred. i recomend you try it out and you will never regret it bleave me. benji haile

The best food ever in Africa. Best fitness center including the best I ever seen Turkish bath. The cake is good not to mention the neatness of the room. I noticed a brief interruption of power (rolling blackout) during the switch over to in-house power generator. I hope this to be correct soon. Otherwise I love it. RM

After staying for 5 days at Intercontenental Asmara, I did not want to go home. It has magnificent views and superior service. It is a five star hotel with outdoor and indoor swimming pool.

The service was delightful especially in the restaurant, attentive but not overbearing. The staff were confident and polite and if you wanted to chat, then so did they. The Internet suite was easy to use and well equipped, as a an IT company on a business trip essential to our stay. The shops were well chosen, the Nightclub well run. Not so well located for Holidaying, but boy! if you are into Steam railways... well say no more Eritrea has the best. We even wrote about it in our Newsletter. We first went as delegates to a conference and are returning to assist with our newest Client. The best this hotel can do - is not to change.

it was nice over all, except it was a little pricy:)But I loved it b/c it had the club, pool, internet access etc..it's really beatiful place to relax especially if you have the money for it..

It's a hotel that I would like to stay every chance I get. Every thing about it perfect; service, meals, weather,location and most of all very friendly people and service with smile!

My first impressions of the hotel when entering were that of amazement I was stunned by the quality and style of the building. The restaurant has a mixture of international and local food, there is a gym, swimming pool (indoor and outdoor), tennis courts, hairdresser, even souvenir shops and many areas where you can sit relax and have a cool drink. My only criticism would be on the parking spaces as they sometimes tend to fill up quickly at night. Some have complained about the service although I think it was quite good especially at the restaurant. The location is very convenient and has a great view of the countryside. My trip to Eritrea was most enjoyable and the hotel made it an even better experience.

The location is good, it is close to the airport and downtown. The cleanliness is good but the compitence of the staff was very poor. Over all I would go back.
