Larkspur Landing Sunnyvale, an All-Suite Hotel, Sunnyvale

The first night we were there with ten other family's for a soccer tournament I unfolded the couch bed to find the mattress covered in blood on the bottom corner so I folded it back up and my 11 year old daughter slept on the couch cushions. I folded the sheets down on the king size bed to find more blood stains on sheets, pulled the sheet down and slept with the other ones. The next morning I talked to the front desk and they apologized and said they would take care or it first thing. We returned at 2:00 and nothing was done yet, so we went to the next game hoping it would be done before we got back and the bed sheets were replaced but they did nothing with the couch bed . That night my daughter slept again on the couch cushions. I also went to the front desk that night to se if we could check out 1 hour later because of tournament and she told me to check with Jeffery the next morning,so I talked to him the next morning after first early game and he said that it wasn't possible and housekeeping doesn't come until 2 anyway and we were just looking to stay until 1. I would be ok with that but all the blood stains,that can not be sanitary and they didn't even fix it . Now for the good after I started to load there was a lady at the counter and I decided to ask her and tell her what was going on ,her name was Wendy the manager on duty she made everything right and I would definitely go back if she was there. has a very good, but too predictable breakfast spread. friendly staff. clean room and comfy stay. nothing to eat close by.

This hotel pulls this stunt all the time -- it's only 99 dollars on Saturday nights, when they aren't full of business travelers. Every other night it's anywhere from 219-249 a night for a basic room. Staff is also consistently incompetent; they've forgotten to give me a wakeup call multiple times, and they are indifferent at best to noise coming from other rooms or cars in their lot. Rooms are clean and well-furnished for the business traveler however, so if you can afford to pay up to 300 bucks a night after the taxes for a hotel that's in a gas station parking lot, and you have your own alarm clock, this is the place for you.

My husband & I stayed here last year over the Memorial Day weekend. The bed was soft & inviting, the room clean & quiet, and the staff extremely helpful. We were here for 5 days & 4 nights and although there were numerous families with small children (only saw them in the lobby during breakfast) the hotel was still very quiet. Loved this place, can't wait to go back.

there where mean people hanging out in the parking lot. they would cuss and blast music. a/c made alot of noises. i wouldn't stay here!

Definitely one of my top choices in Sunnyvale. I've stayed at it while on business trips and traveling with family. Good size rooms, comfy beds, tv/dvd, working internet, free water and welcome basket, decent breakfast, apples/cookies at frontdesk. Being on the road for much of the past several months, its these little things that make all the difference. Also their daily rates were quite reasonable. Nitpicks - at breakfast they tend to run out of blueberry muffins quickly, also tends to be booked solid so last minute stays may be difficult.

This was my first experince with a long term stay hotel and it was very nice. The fresh cookies in the lobby were very nice. The staff was super attentive. Breakfast was nice and complimentary.
