i wouldn't stay here again

noisy guest next door. staff didn't do anything about it. bedding was stained. toliet didn't even flush. i wouldn't stay here again.

great hotel, great rate, friendly staff

The hotel is not super fancy like the huge conglomerate down the road, but was very clean, served our purpose & was at a reasonable rate. The staff was super friendly & the breakfast bar was nice. It was a bonus to have the mircrowave & small fridge in the room. We will book this hotel again. I truly don't understand all the negative reviews unless management has changed.

Only if you like living on the edge

I made our reservations 2 months early, since this was a convention weekend. I knew that hotels would fill up to capacitiy. I knew it was overpriced, but it had a pool, and I had a family, so it was more worth it to me. When we checked it, it took us three sets of keys to finally get a room that someone else wasn't staying it. This happened to two other families as well. It also happened to people during the night, because we heard the confrenations in the hall. This hotel is dirty, had no hot water or water pressure, the tv remote didn't work, the "hot" breakfast was cereal, and has no parking. Please think twice before staying here.

Horrible booking

We made our reservations 2 weeks before we went. We had a room for Thurs night and Sat night. They were booked for Fri. night. No big deal. We get there to check in and they only had us down for Thurs night. Our friend reservations also got messed up. They had 3 nights in a non-smoking room. When they checked in they had a non-smoking room for Thurs. night and then a smoking room for Fri. night but no room for Sat. night. Makes no sense. We were told the manager would be in in 15 min. to go wait in our rooms. We left and came back 4 hours later and the manager was still not there. There was also other people in the waiting area complaining about not having hot water for over 24 hours. This is the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life..... To make it better we were about 400 miles from home.

Very disappointed!

The rate was very high considering the other hotels in the same class with the Ramada. Repeadedly I tried to reach the manager and was unable to. The desk clerk said that she would have him return the call and never did. I tried several times. We were told that we would receive a certain rate but did not receive the rate as promissed. The bedspreads were very soiled, the ceiling was very dirty. I felt that we paid for much more than we received and we will not be staying at the Ramada on our next visit to Louisville, KY. In the past we normally stay in April, August and November. We had two rooms for 6 nights we paid $1100. Friends of ours stayed at the Super 8 for only $54 a night and that included tax. We paid too much. Thanks Gay Ervin

I will not stay at this hotel again

A few days before I arrived at the Ramada Limited hotel, I called several other hotels to find out what kind of Continental breakfest they serve; Ramada was the only one that said we serve a Hot breakfest. The only hot item they had was make your own waffles or toast, we had to go to Arby's to get a hot breakfest. We went to Six Flags/ Ky Kingdom for about 5 or 6 hours and returned to the hotel and we were locked out of our room. This hotel was not what I thought it to be and was sure not worth what they had charged me, I will not stay in this hotel when I go back to Louisville, Ky.
