Best Western Chieftain Inn, Wenatchee

We stayed in a room with a king bed. the bed was very comfortable. Our room was clean and bright. the pool and hottub area were clean and enjoyable for our whole family. Customer service was very good. breakfast, too, was very good.

Second stay. Nice rooms, modern clean. TV is modern (AV jacks in back for Playstation/Xbox/DVD player. Pool and hot-tub are nice. Breakfast in all you could hope for in a continental (omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy, many other options). WIFI was good "most" the time, weak some times). VERY NICE

We stayed at this motel about 2 years ago, in the same room. We requested the same room, and were pleasantly surprised at the updates since our last stay. The bed was a four-poster and quite comfortable, we think the TV was pretty new and there was a very comfortable chair for my husband and a comfortable arm chair for me. We were in the "handicap suite", which is extremely convenient for non-wheelchair disabilities. I can't tell if it would be good for wheelchair access, but the shower certainly appears to have been built with this in mind. The location is great. It's within walking distance of downtown, plus a couple of shopping centers are handy too. We would also recommend the Buzz Inn Steakhouse, right across the street, for cleanliness, quick service, and pretty good food. This motel is very clean. I mean, REALLY clean. We read other reviews of this motel and noted that comment regarding noises from the railway were exaggerated. We found it to be reasonably quiet and very convenient. Wish we'd brought our swimming suits. The value was, for us, great since we qualified for a discount. However, I believe we would stay here without a discount because of the convenience. As for service, we found everyone to be helpful and friendly. And, to top it off, this has to be the best breakfast in town.

The rooms are fine-clean and spacious. But they appear very run down. I hated that fact that there is no internet access - it says they have but they have been off line the whole week that I was there. Breakfast is horrible! How can you have boiled eggs (which are ice cold) everyday! The bread, scones look like they are a month old. And no hot milk for tea, coffee or cereal. There may breakfast included in the price to stay, but don't be fooled.
