Did I seriously just pay TWELVE DOLLARS FOR INTERNET? I connected to the hotel site and input my last name and room number - not thinking that they would CHARGE ME for the access! For an industry that's supposed to be a SERVICE, I sure feel swindled. Bad move, Marriott. There are PLENTY of other places for me to stay that can provide me with today's basics. Shame on you.

The most outstanding feature was the service. It could compete with any international hotel in courtesy and friendliness. The room was very clean and happened to be newly-furnished in bright but comfortable colors. The bathroom was a dream. It was extremely clean, especially the shower area. There was no noise from the adjacent rooms; only in the hall could voices be heard if the people were speaking loudly. Fun is the wrong word to describe this hotel- it was extremely enjoyable to stay there and would be worth the time and money to revisit it.

I loved the hotel, I spent my first anniversary here and enjoyed it overall. The location wasn't as hard to find as expected...it was a great price for the hotel. I didn't like the clock tower restaurant and the service there made the experience a little unpleasant but the stay was still enjoyable-I will be returning soon!

It is located next to nothing, service was terrible, food was even worse, it was kind of clean but for what i paid i expected better

We made our reservations ahead of time online, for what we thought was our set price... but upon arrival the hotel tried to over-charge my credit card an additional $150 claiming it as "standard procedure for incidentals". There was no mention of this on their website, nor in the confirmation I received from them prior to our arrival. As someone who does tons of research to try & find the best deals, I was not pleased with being slapped with an additional $150 in fees. Because I was so outraged (and on the verge of causing a scene--we were already paying over $100 a night in the first place!), the manager waived our fee, but turned off local calling & pay-per-view movies for our room... like those things cost $50 per day anyway! We didn't even miss those two "extras". The room itself was a very nice, well decorated suite, and the bed really was amazing... but the "good" part stops there. The pool was murky, it's $14.95 per person for breakfast, and $9.95 per day just to use the internet. There is neither shopping nor dining within walking distance of the hotel. The only thing there IS the hotel. Next time we decide to spend a few days vacationing in Charlotte we'll stay at a more economical family-friendly hotel in a better location, without the additional hidden fees!

What an experience! I love this hotel in charlotte. It was cozy, comfy and LUXURIOUS. The food was good, the pool was fun and I enjoyed myself much. I bought many gifts from the little shop inside and Im sure my friends will love them. STAY HERE!

Service was terrible. Staff was rude, inconsistent and lazy. I have stayed there 6 times over the past year and would never stay again. I even contacted Marriott's Customer Care to talk to them about my very unpleasant experience.

THIS hotel was RELLY NICE!!!!!! I was very CLEAN and the SERVICE was nice!!!!! I would give this hotel a 5-star! The pool was nice and the HOLE hotel was GREAT!!!! i would stay there again!!!! AND the Service was VERY NICE!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS GREAT!!!!

I booked as a business traveler and was very pleased upon arriving at the hotel. Not only is the lobby and central area/atrium of the hotel spacious, it's also very beautiful. The rooms were very spacious, as well as the bathroom. My room had two televisions, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The service was excellent as well. There are nice amenities at this hotel including a nice pool and spa area, a workout room with televisions and a great restaurant and Club Lounge with a super continental breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
