We Have Truck Parking.......(well, sort of)
First of all, I had a reservation at the Days Inn, which said on their website that THEY had truck parking. Always call first, a lesson I quickly learned. Days Inn recommended Super 8 and was told they had truck parking. Yeah, in a defunct restaurant next door with barely enough room to maneuver, if you don't mind tearing up real estate.
Received a non-smoking room on a non-smoking hallway that WREAKED of cigarette smoke. The towels stunk, the jacuzzi tub was inoperable, the heater/fan had a terrible grinding noise that you either overlook or freeze and the king-size bed was worn completely out. It felt as if a string of 500+ lb'ers had slept there before me and the mattress had NEVER been flipped!
Everything but the truck parking is an easy fix. The staff was very courteous and nice but overall, I wouldn't stay there again and won't recommend this motel to anyone. Especially not for truck drivers!
