like...the food was okay, had a good view, and our daughters loved the ocean. dislike...found out feb-june is grad week so there were a ton of students/grads there that no one really got to use the pool or was near them. it took average 45 minutes to get a cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, hotdog, and philly steak. some of the lights and ceiling looked like they were falling out, food not too kid friendly and not really tasty but on some things, game system didn't work, they mention lots of activites for guests, they had 2 full snorlingh sets and 1/2 a snorkel set, kids room looked like a daycare that was clsoed 1/2 the time and that is where you get your snorkels from, some of the staff was rude, the elvators were stuck alot because of more than 8 (grads) in at a time, does not look like they did any renovations, pricy place in general to do anything that we stayed at the beach most of the time ($150/person to touch dolphins!) beach at riu was nicer and more fun but the one at paradise harbor was perfect for kids, most of the staff was nice but few were rude, they had good dance shows in the lobby, we wen't for family vacation and anniversary and wanted tor enew vows but it was too much to renew, it was $1300 to renew ($1500 to get married and some places when called around on other islands renewed vows for $ 150 but were booked) if you're rich, might have fun, if your on a budget, not fun. my husband said it hcanged so much that he, like the rest of us was ready to leave on the 3rd day. we bothe said we are never going back cause too costly and the hotel was horrible. oh and the ceiling in some places leaked
