Holiday Inn Express At Williamsburg, State College

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel since it was new and spotless. The room was thoroughly cleaned (from ceilings to rugs/floors). In addition, the staff was friendly, easily accessible and willing to assist at all hours of the night. I have stayed at many of the other hotels in the state college vicinity, and they are not nearly as clean and seem old and worn in comparision to the Holiday Inn Express.

Upon reading the previous negative review from the other guest, I felt inclined to write my own comments. I have traveled around the world and have found that the decor, its staff and the cleanliness of rooms are far above any Holiday Inn that I have ever stayed at. This property went above and beyond its customer service. The professionalism that I experienced from my interactions extended from the smiling front desk employees to the personable breakfast attendants. During my week stay, I learned that this property received multiple awards including the highest award....the Torchbearer award for two years in a row (which I was told, has never been done before). You cant miss the large trophy case that towers next to the front desk. Amidst my personal opinion, this hotel should be turned into a Crowne Plaza and is evident with the upkeep of the property and its "Whatever It Takes" attitude that is presented to each guest. I am proud to say that this property should be the benchmark for all Holiday Inn's to follow!!
