The Grand Hotel, Sunnyvale

I have stayed here many times and have sent many business associates to this most enjoyable hotel. I am a clean-freak and an odor-freak. The Grand Hotel is immacuate, and smells wonderuflly fresh without any perfumey (what is that covering up?) fragrance. The ammenities are outstanding and the staff is beyond compare. There's plenty of restaurants, nightlife and shopping on Murphy in SV and Castto in MV - both very close by. Try The Grand, you'll love it!

I am trying to get away from the "Chain" hotels I am always staying at. A Hilton in Cali is the same as a Hilton in Miami. Even though I am trying, I am always a bit anxious when staying at an "independant" hotel. At least at a chain, you know what you are getting. The GRand Hotel is one of the best stays I have ever had. Rooms are large and spacious. Clean with plenty of clean linen on a daily basis. The complimentry breakfast in the morning is not just the usually Continential you normally get, but a full meal. In the evening between 5pm-7pm, the Bar has free drinks and appitizers. Staff is friendly and was there when I needed them. Free in room High Speed internet was great and reliable. There is not much in Sunnyvale area, but was perfect for my buisness trip. But on that note it is only 40mins from DT San Francisco and 30mins from San Jose. This is a great Hotel worth more than what they charge.

The Grand hotel is a great value for business travel. Spacious rooms, complete with internet access, work desk area and huge bathrooms! The rate even includes breakfast and cocktail hour and depending on the location, limo transportation to the office or airport.
