Highway Inn, Cabo Rojo

Bad experience.. won,t recommend to others..wasn,t worth the time or money..bathroom toilet wasn,t working..no ice machine...people playing loud music and playing dominoes outside our room till 3 AM.

Not even warm water in the shower; there is no restaurant as specified on the internet; the only food available is found inside a vending machine; no phone in room and the picture on the internet is not what you get. Yes, inexpensive, but for a little more one could stay at a place offering more ammenities. I do not plan on staying there again. I will say that the personnel was wonderful. Mark and L. G

I loved this place nice and clean..everyone was very nice and courteous....this is definately close to all major stores and malls...and Historical Points to see...I will honestly return...nice quiet with just the sounds of the 'Coqui" as you fall asleep.....many many stars I give Hotel Highway Inn in Cabo Rojo , Puerto Rico...

One of the best in the west, big and clean bedrooms, closer to the best beaches in the island, our stay in this parador was only 2 day but we are going again, because of the service and the beautiful place that is Cabo Rojo, i recommended 100%

If you are seeking something basic, this is a fine place to stay. There is nothing particularly special about it, but there's nothing particularly awful, either. The room I stayed in was clean and simple - the A/C worked (very important), the bed was fine, the bathroom fine (could use better water temp control in the shower, but there was clean hot water (just little choice between scald and freeze) in the shower. Would have liked a tub. Would have liked little things like a coffee maker and such, but you don't stay here for those things - not at its price. Location is fine provided you don't mind driving, which is typical in Puerto Rico. Although all the rooms have phones, when I visited, they didn't work. There is a payphone by the pool and, depending on whose staying at the time, it can be a treat to be outside watching the pool and on the phone, too. If you expect even Holiday Inn basics, go someplace else. At the same time, you won't find this to be a cut-rate hole. Keep your expectations in reason and you should be quite content with it. I was and plan to return.

Small hotel but very peacefull and plaesant. Located in an ausome spot of the west area for beaches and water sports.
