Holiday Inn Express And Suites, Murrells Inlet

The cleanliness is a must for me as many hotels in myrtle beach were not. I enjoyed the area of murrells inlet and the staff was very friendly an personable. I had the breakfast in the morning which took me by surprise as all it offers and it was very good! the room i had was larger than most and all in all i was extremely happy to stay here. I will return to this hotel when I am in the area again. thank you.

i have to say i liked the location of the hotel the price could have been lower and there was a roach in our room but its by the water so your going to get that. the mall is across the street and the breakfast was hot and ready even 5 minutes before it was suppos to close. the staff was very nice and went out of their way to get me an earlier arrival day and a later departure date. it is located near all the things to do at the beaach but outside of the bright city lights which was nice. the pool room could have been warmer and have more light

I stayed there 1/25 to 1/28/08 and I had a very good time, it was clean, my family lives there so I was happy that I didn't have to stay with anyone, there were a few restaurants next to the hotel. The breakfast they served every morning was great.

Nice comfortable beds and pleaseant staff. Convienent to local attractions and some of South Carolina's best seafood in Murrells Inlet. Would recommend it to friends comming for a visit.

I stayed over Thanksgiving time 2005. Rooms were a great value, especially given their very large size, quiet, cleanliness and, really, luxuriousness! Lovely indoor pool, and great breakfast (can't recall specifics, but definitely beyond 'continental style'). Not least, very genuinely friendly service, front desk, managment, and housekeeping, all (all females, while I was there). It was the perfect place to stay for my mom and I as we moved her into her new home in Murrells Inlet.

After my father died in July, I took my mother to SC for some R&R and we stayed at this hotel. My husband booked it online for us and instead of 3 nights the computer put us in for '32' nights!! I called immed to correct the situation but the manager wouldn't not work with us. We had an awful time going between him and the corporate office to try and rectify the problem. In the end... the corp. office paid the difference for the extra 27 nights!!! We had to stay there or else he was going to charge us for the 3 nights anyway. I LOVE Holiday Inns (I travel a lot), this manager really soured it for us. I've switched.

CHECKED IN ON 8/20/06 BY A FRIENDLY FRONT DESK CLERK. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND BREAKFAST WAS GOOD. RECEIVED AN EMERGENCY PHONE CALL FROM HOME AND HAD TO CHECK OUT EARLY (THE NIGHT BEFORE). EXPLAINED TO THE NIGHT CLERK THAT WE NEEDED TO CHECK OUT AND HEAD BACK HOME. SHE BECAME VERY UPSET AND SAID "WELL, YOU WON'T GET ANY MONEY BACK". EXPLAINED TO HER WE JUST WANTED TO CHECK OUT AND HEAD BACK HOME. SHE WAS QUITE NASTY ABOUT IT. THIS RUINED MY STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

My friend and I were visiting to see the Holiday lights at Brookgreen Gardens on 12/2/05. We only stayed that night at the hotel but were both very pleased with the service and friendliness of the staff. They had a lot of guests but the hotel was quiet. We requested and received a non-smoking room (Ibelieve the entire floor was non-smoking which was really nice). the room was very clean and comfortable (no pests in sight as another review suggested). Beds were comfortable. Everything about the room was nice. The continental breakfast was delicious and filling. For the money it was an excellent deal and I would definitely stay there again and suggest it to others.

I booked this before reading the two previous reviews, so I was not sure what we were going to get. To my surprise, we found the rooms to be very nice and clean. We had a minor problem with the rate, but got that worked out through guest services later. The pool was clean and the towels provided were big and fluffy like we like. The breakfast was great and the breakfast staff showed personal interest and interaction with my husband who is a clown. I think that we got a great deal for the money. It is a fairly new hotel and I've stayed at the beach many times and in comparison to other hotels, it was extremely clean! Great place for middle class family who wants nice and clean for a great value.
