Great Stay at an Excellent Hotel

Clean rooms, great location, and very comfortable beds made this a pleasant stay. The staff was helpful, and the amenities were excellent. I would stay again if I found a good deal.

It was a pitty!!!

My husband and I used to stay at the Sofitel, New York, which we found located in an excellent spot, good rates and avergae service. Last time we stayed there I forgot my purse with all the cosmetics in it.As soon as I realized I phoned the hotel and since my mother tongue is not English I was very badly treated. I felt discriminated and took me several days till I got my purse back after writing to Sofitel headquarters. Their reaction was too slow and the damage had already been done. Since then we haven't stayed again at the Sofitel and I'm not sure if in the future I will.

Never Again!

I'm originally from New York and I was very excited to be going back to NY to celebrate at friends birthday. All together we booked 10 rooms. Our room seemed clean but I found a dirty used bandaid in the bathroom :-( and none of the lights worked in the room. It took a whole day for the hotel to replace the light bulbs. I had to call the desk more then once to have them changed. I felt we were all treated very poorly and I will never stay in another Sofitel again

It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at Sweethoteldeals. Net They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Great Hotel!!

The Sofitel Hotel was great. Great location, walking distance from time square. The rooms were spacious, very clean the staff was excellent. The conciere service was a big help in getting us where we needed to go the best way and gave us helpful hints and suggestions.

Sofitel is Best in NYC

The Sofitel is luxurious with top-notch customer service and a nice location in midtown. Far enough away from Times Square that you don't get the bother and noise, but with a nice central location. My favorite hotel in the city.

The best place to stay after getting engaged.

last minute wedding arrangement

WE HAD TO CHANGE THE VENUE OF MY DAUGHTER'S WEDDING 5 DAYS BEFORE. WE CALLED ON TUESDAY.WEDNESDAY WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT. HAD MEETING WITHTHE BANQUET MANEGER MS. BRIDGETTE, MS FRANCOICE THE ROOM BOOKING MANAGER, MR. BILL THE AND THE CHEFF. WE EVEN HAD A CHANCE TO TASTE THE FOOD WE HAD EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE AT SOFITEL. EVERY ONE WAS SO KIND AND VERY HELPFUL. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THE STAFF AT SOFITEL AND GIVE THEM A BIG THANK YOU. THANK YOU ALL MRS. DAJANI

Great value

Most of the time, you can't wait to go home and sleep in your own bed. We got home and can't wait to go back and sleep in theirs!! Most comfortable hotel bed ever. The service was friendly and helpful. They were able to accommodate our request for a late check out (2pm). You cannot beat the location - Central Park, Theatres, Time Square, 5th Ave - all in walking distance. Would definitely stay there again
