Stay Anywhere But Here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/15/08
We stayed here for a week. Unfortunately we paid in advance. They say they have kitchens but there was no oven, no toaster, no dishes, pots, pans, utensils plates, or anything. Just a tiny fridge, microwave and sink. We called and asked for a few items and they brought us a couple plates and spoons that were UNWASHED and said, "Sorry, our dishwasher is broken." Apparently the entire hotel doesn't have a sink, sponge and soap available for staff to use. Every time we needed a fork or a glass we had to call and most often trek up to the front to get it ourselves and AGAIN the items were UNWASHED. All week! Also, someone spilled a packet of what looked like instant oatmeal in the hall. Instead of vacuuming it up (I guess that was broken too) someone put a door mat over it! It took four days before someone cleaned it up! We had lightbulbs go out and although we requested new ones several times a day they were never replaced. I have never stayed in a hotel more filthy or disgusting. A hotel that rents rooms by the hour would be a better, cleaner bet than this one.

Dirty and Dangerous
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/07
I felt a need to rebut any rave reviews about this hotel. It's a discount hotel, but even using a sliding scale, this place comes up short. Hotels in Nashville are not that expensive; put up a few extra dollars and avoid the annoyances. 1. Dangerous. There is no security here and boy do they need it. Public drinking is the norm, so you're likely to have any number of groups loitering in the parking lot drinking, urinating, puking, playing stereos at all hours. 2. Dirty. The carpet is so filthy that running a vacuum cleaner over it turns the entire underside black. The air conditioner was so caked with mold and muck that I was afraid to use it. 3. Little Annoyances. (a) There is no clock in the room, so remember to bring your own. I thought this was a mistake, but they told me 'no, there's one on the microwave.' While true, it's not readable from almost anywhere in the room. (b) The toilet ran--you had to jiggle the handle to make it stop. (c) The room wasn't level. Not that bothersome to walk downhill in your room, but in the shower it meant that the water all pooled at one end. (d) I put my own linens on the bed and housekeeping walked through a 'do not disturb' sign to change my linens and ended up absconding with my sheets. In my experience 'extended stay' is just a euphemism for flophouse. If you want to stay at a hotel, just make a reservation at a real hotel.

Disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/28/07
My husband and I stayed in your hotel June 6, 2007 we were to be there till June 13,2007 but we ended up leaving early. We were very disappointed in our stay. We made a number of trips to the office for towels, toilet paper and etc. The garbage was never taking from are room. The small kitchen floor was dirty and the bathroom floor was also dirty. Each time we made a trip to the office we would get the same thing they would tell them and it would be cleaned tomorrow. I was ask if I had a do not disturb sign on the door I never even seen one in the room let on being able to but it on the door. We would come back for the CMA fan fare to the same thing a dirty room with the beds not even made and no clean towels for a shower. Your motel came highly recommended by parents in which they have stayed in them in Florida. My family was looking for a friendly clean place to stay and what we found was truly a mess. My husband and myself move to another motel and was treated with kindness and to a clean room each day. We ended up staying till Saturday June 16th. I have a brother who move from Florida to MT. Juliet and we as family visits often. Being it is only a 10 hour drive. This motel would have been the perfect it was not to far from his home and to the area in which we wanted to visit. Due to the way we were treated I would never recommended this motel to any of my family members or anyone

Above and beyond!
By Maria, 05/14/07
Ok, so I am still staying at the Suburban Extended Stay in Hermitage and should probably wait until I check out but that will be in 10 days or so and I think people should know that this is the best (hands down) place to stay for the money in all of Nashville. I can say this because I have stayed at almost all of them in the area. My room is clean, the bed is a perfect 10 for comfort and the room has everything I need and more. There is a desk and chair, a dining table with two chairs, a stove top, a microwave, a kitchen sink, a refrigerator (apartment sized), even kitchen cabinets with eating utensils(!) The bed is king-size with two night stands, a real live closet with a door on it, and of course the bathroom. (the bath is smallish but gets the job done) When I have stayed at other places in town, I have always had a hard time getting connected to their wireless high speed ISP and sending and receiving emails. But not here, I swear, I booted my laptop and was connected instantly. Not a second of trouble. But I have saved the best for last... I brought my dog with me this time which was probably a mistake. I would have been a real problem anywhere else because when I left the room this morning, he started barking and wouldn't stop (eeeck!) I had left my business card with the Manager (who is fantastic) in case something happened with the dog and sure enough only 15 minutes after I left my cell rang. Now, the Manager had every right to tell me to come back, get the dog and check out. But she didn't. She called to let me know that two employees had moved my dog into my bath and that he had stopped barking. She just wanted to let me know. ;-). I know this is a long review but how else do I let you know why you should stay here and not somewhere else. By the way, only $35 a night. Can you beat that? p.s. Please don't think anyone put me up to this. (that's what I think sometimes when I read rave reviews ;-)

Won't stay again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/14/06
No hairdryer in room. Dishes and silverware, but no dish soap to clean them. The wireless didn't work the first night and they closed the office early, so there was no one to call. The bathroom was so small that if you stood at the sink, the door hit your arm. The recliner was set in the center of the room and looked old and soiled. The TV was maybe a 15" - I've never seen one so small in any hotel.
