La Quinta Inn & Suites San Antonio Downtown, San Antonio

PM shift very rude & disrespectful! 2nd rm they moved us to seemed ok till I went in bathroom to get the ice bucket & stepped in someone else's urine. They acted as thou we did it...EWE! 3rd rm shower & TV was broke. AM shift was much nicer...but if they can't get it right after 3 rooms...SHAME on Them!! Wouldn't recommend to anyone & we left in the am!

The immpression that i first got when we arrived at the hotel was that it was decent and clean. Once we arrived at our rooms i discovered that the room wasnt so clean. The tub in the shower was clogged. When i called maintence they didnt even bother on helping. The tv didnt work and they didnt fix that either. We booked the room for 2 days and the room wasnt cleaned. The towels were really bad and worn out. So i wouldnt stay ther again. I would Not recommend. The only positive thing about the stay was the breakfast and the walking distance to the riverwalk.

During my stay at this La Quinta someone broke into my room on the 13th floor and took my cell phone and my credit card. After I reported it to the staff all they did was “Conduct” on how many times the door was opened during my stay. After that they never contacted me back and tell me of any findings. Not only that the room had bugs and some type of weird wet spots by the AC. I highly recommend anyone not to stay at this hotel there is a great chance you might get robbed and the hotel will not do anything about it!

Location, Location.... We stayed here to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. We were passing through to Louisiana and made a special trip to see the Riverwalk. It's so easy to get to the downtown attractions from here thanks to the bus system. Our room was gorgeous!!! For a pet room we were blown away at the quality of the room. Usually hotels send pet owners to the worst rooms in the back somewhere. Not here! The free breakfast was so much nicer than other places we've stayed. It was so nice that the price was a non-issue, and we tend to be frugal travelers. We would stay here over and over if the quality stays where it is! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We ate at Achiote on the riverwalk and it was amazing.

we stayed 4 nights and the room we had a hot tub a couple of jets did not work the shower get going from hot to cold constantly when showering..the beds made my wife and i backs hurt and toss and turn all night and eventually we slept on couch and chair..the service was great,we like the staff and hotel itself but the room and bed itself was unpleasant espeacially when i spent 750.00 for 4 nights i am sorry but i would like somewhat of a refund.the company i work for uses this hotel all the time and its a major corporation.

Enjoyed San Antonio immensely. I liked our stay at this place because it was very convenient to the interstates and there was NO CHARGE for parking. The breakfast was very family friendly and the eating area was extremely clean. The lady made sure that all was refilled and wiped down. The staff was very good...giving directions, etc. The room was basically clean and our king suite had a decent amount of space. We had to call maintenance several times due to ants in the bathroom and then 3 more times for burned out light bulbs. We stayed 4 nights. Each time that we made a complaint, the response was very good and the issue was resolved. As I read the many other reviews prior to going Dec 9th, I almost changed my reservations to another hotel. While we did see the ants, there were no silverfish, etc as stated in another review. It does seem that this hotel has ANT issues and they always seem to be under the sink in the bathroom and will spread FAST if not killed immediately. These are weird ants because only my daughter could spot them. I actually had to put on my reading glasses cuz they are VERY small. Anyway, the beds were comfortable and CLEAN.

it had a great location and a nice clean indoor pool,the rooms were very nice and service was good,had a very good location,we had a great time

my husband,children and i have stayed at this location every time we hhave visited san antonio. He has family there so we visit about once a year.our first stay was just months after it opened and it was then woodfield suites.its close to every thing downtown and the kids didn't ever complain about walking any where.the breakfast is alway good,hot,and a grat way to start your day.they have always had an evening reception each time we stayed and it is a great way to relax between the morning and eaving activities.we relax and the kids swim.they loved the pool,its nothing fancy but a nice size with a large patio area and a hot tub for our tired bones.we will stay again as we always have.the staff has always been friendly and accomidated even a room prefrence.i must say is is the best family friendly hotel we have ever stayed at.at we have stayed at many as we travel as often as possible.we wish there were more places like it.

This hotel was unique in that it accommodated our family of four with two full beds and a pull-out couch for a reasonable price. The hotel clerks were very courteous and helpful in seeing to our needs and directing us around the city. However, we had tiny ants in our room. It took three days, half of our stay, to get the problem solved. Our room smelled like insecticide the remainder of our stay. There was also a four-inch "Palmetto Bug" on the wall in the common room during breakfast one morning. A southern gentleman took care of it with his shoe. Our son enjoyed meeting other teens in the common room at the end of the day and the internet connection provided, our daughter enjoyed the pool, and I enjoyed the work out room.

I understand the hotel was going through some renovations, but it wasn't in the best area to get around. The rooms were nice and newly decorated and nice thick towels ( I like that.) But I called in for a wake up call and didn't get it, then rushing out to make sure I made it on time for my flight, the elevators were stuck half open and not all the way level. Not sure what that was about, but I told the front clerk on my way out
