Dont stay here
By ShawnR, 8/22/07
The place is a dump. Our door didnt even have a key. The front desk clerk had to let us in everytime we went anywhere. The tv had one volume LOUD and if you left it plugged in it would just come on by itself. Horrible horrible. called to make sure my room would be held since we were arriving after10pm, no problem I was told 2 queen beds no problem. Got there and was given a handicap room with double and half bed---never Jamison!

Are You Kidding??
By Navy Sailor, 8/3/07
If you look over the other reviews of the Jameson Inn you would think this place was the best place in town. It is far from nice and we actually left as soon as we saw the room to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The rude front desk attendant talking on company phone to her friend didn't make things any better. The rooms are nothing above a 1977 syled Motel 6 and their hotel description hypes ammenties that are only a few rooms. There are no laundry facilities and only select rooms have kitchenettes. We are traveling with twin babies and needed the sink and counter area of the kitchenette for preparing bottles but were told those are only in some rooms and if you want them they cost $20+ more a night from the quoted price. This place is a funky, nasty, overpriced hole of a motel. If you want to stay a good values but inexpensive hotel try any of the other places in town first.

Horrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/16/07
When we arrive there we thought the rooms were clean but the sheets were dingy and thin. They didn't have enough towels I had to clean my room myself. Last days of my stay the hotel phones were disconnected. Will not stay there again!

My Jameson Inn Stay
By v, 7/24/06
The Jameson Inn was a very nice hotel. The rooms were a little small for the price we paid for them. I don't know if I would be returning. The location was very convenient. There was a mall and a movie theather across the street. Another thing, there wasn't enough cable channels on the television.

Two Thumbs Up!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/13/05
This was my third trip to Meridian, but by far my best hotel experience. The rooms were immaculate and the staff was exceptional. Extra touches made you realize that they really care (things like fancy towel folds such as you'd see on a cruise or at a 5-star hotel). Their breakfast was a hit with hot Belgian waffles and plenty of choices. They are located across the street from the Bonita Lakes Mall, but only a block from I20. I'd highly recommend them for anyone visiting Meridian.
