Good value
Gasthof Village Inn is an exceptionally clean environment. We stayed Tuesday and Wednesday nights. There was always coffee available in the lobby, as well as coffee cake.
The room we stayed in had 2 double beds, sattelite TV (including 3 movie channels), air conditioning, and high speed internet availability. There was a coffee pot, but no microwave.
On the grounds was a good restaurant, which featured a buffet filled with salads, 3 or 4 different meats, veggies, potatoes, and fish, and a nice desert bar. Prices were better than expected, at $7.99 for lunch, and $8.99 for dinner (not including drinks). Both lunch and dinner featured the buffet, and the only difference I saw was the price, which changed with the time of day.
There was a pool, but we didn't use it.
Also on the grounds was a flea market, which I didn't find impressive, a bakery, and the shops where you could buy handmade quilts, etc.
Right in back of the motel is a lake, which you can fish. If you want to launch a boat, you need to go to the other side of the lake (a short distance) to a campground, which is run by the county.
This place served as our base for a 3 day fishing trip, but we fished other lakes in the area.
In the end, we would stay there again. It is a good value and very clean and comfortable.
