Would not recommend for reunion.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/09
We booked cabin for a day before family reunion started. Good thing, because as family members began to arrive, they had no place to gather except our cabin. Reservations were messed up, rooms were not ready until 6 p.m. even though check in was 3 p.m. Handicapped member of family was placed on 2nd floor even though reservation was made for ground floor. Price per room as quoted was only for 1 person, not 2 as most motels or hotels would be. Meal tickets were included if one stayed in lodge but some family members were not given their tickets for meals. Food was repative and dry. Better deals and meals in town. As a reunion site I would not recommend. As a vacation site, as long as you are in a cabin I would. No a/c though, so buy some fans or bring your own.

Simply the Best Family Vacation!
By Emily, 06/24/09
My family started to visit the YMCA of the Rockies at Estes Park in 1946. This place is NOT the Ritz and you will not have luxury rooms. Although some of the newer accommendations are pretty darned close! If you are looking for a clean, wholesome family spot where it is still cool to go to daycamp and mention God (yes, YMCA still has Christ in its name)and ride a horse and cook dinner in your cabin, then this is your place. There are mini golf, indoor swimming, campfires, hikes, a great new Arts and Crarfts Center, climbing and ropes course and lots more. If you can get your pre-K thru teens into the daycamps (requires advanced reservations) they will have memories that will last forever. The onsite Dorsey Museum is one the best for local mountain history. If you can stay in a cabin, do. It will be amazing how your family comes together at this place.

I can't wait to invite friends
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/12/07
I entire YMCA is great. Stayed in many different cabins through the years and haven't found a single bad thing about the YMCA. No need to look for any either.

Kick back and Relax
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/11/05
This is a wonderful place in Estes Park. The summit cabins (away from the main campus) provide a beautiful view of surrounding mountains and wildlife including elk, deer, and coyotes frequent the area. You can sit on the porch of the cabin and watch the wildlife go by. These cabins are also less crowded than the main campus which has swimming, horseback riding, and day camps for the kids; not to mention a post office and cafeteria. Hiking and sightseeing are available on the grounds, or in nearby Rocky Mountain National Park. All in all, a great place to relax and enjoy the mountain environment.
