Was I just unlucky?
By Joel, 10/3/11
Almost all rooms were full in town, so I felt lucky to get a room at the Howard Johnson in Torrey. It was an upstairs room, and the day had been hot, but the air-conditioning was not working, so the room was very hot. Very difficult to sleep in. The manager said he couldn't do anything about it -- he had no other rooms to offer. In addition, the main light was not working, so I had to fumble around to find other lights. And the refrigerator was not working. To make matters worse, my credit card was billed 3 separate times, and it took at least a dozen phone calls to straighten out the matter. Overall, a bad experience. I will not stay here again.

a nice stay
By utecs09, 9/8/09
The room is very nice and clean. It is very quiet. It has a gas station at the front door. The wireless is not working for me. I didn't asked about it though. I like the microwave, which make it much easier to prepare food for younger kids..

The best hotel in the area
By laura, 7/9/09
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. It is extremely clean, quiet, very pleasant. It's about 6 miles from Capitol Reef National Park and on the road to Bryce Canyon National Park. The surroundings are simply overwhelming. We highly recomment it

Adequate lodging, great location
By Robert, 5/16/09
Excellent room, bed and shower. Ghastly breakfast with no nutritional value. Had to get new key cards because ... maid's key disabled our keys?? So we were told. Quiet and well located. I would try a motel in Torrey before using Hidden Falls again.

Best SE Utah Motel under $100
By Truth-slooth, 11/2/07
Spotless, Quiet, Views, Best Value in Torrey or the surrounding Capital Reef Area. We have stayed at a half a dozen Torrey Motels over the past several years and this one has it right. We Highly recommend.
