Hampton Inn Port Huron, Port Huron

I am a 50 year old male with three children and a wife. We stayed at the Port Huron Location 1655 Yeager Street I stayed with my family. Our youngest daughter was sick to her stomach. While she was sick our toilet clogged,We went downstairs to ask for a room change, they refused and said the hotel was full. While mopping up the overflowing toilet we received a noise complaint. We refused to stop cleaning as the water was overflowing into the bedroom. Their response was to have 6 cops show up at our door in front of our family and offer us the ultimatum of staying with nonworking plumbing or getting out at 2am as long as we didn't complain they would let us stay. This was the worst stay I have ever had. I will be canceling my corporate account and my family will never stay in Hampton facilities again.

The hotel was great. The room was great. The food was great. The pool was great. The service was great. I would stay here again.

My 2 night stay here was great. I am really happy with the new look of the hotel. My room was perfect and my room service. the only issue i had was with the bathroom. As if it is not finished, the bathtub needs a refinishing and shower units are outdated and need to be replaced along with the shower surround. I thought the continental breakfast was great, as was the service/staff for those 2 days. Overall, We will definitly stay at this hotel again whenever we are visiting Port Huron, followed by our recommendations to our friends.

We just spent the weekend there with our hockey team along with approximately 5 or 6 other teams. There were a lot of boys running around and doing what they do on these tournament weekends at the hotel. For the most part there were no complaints from the hotel and they were very tolerant of what was going on. The continental breakfast was good and the beds were super comfortable. With that said, there were a couple of issues with the hot water and we were unable to get late check outs which was inconvenient. Besides those two things it was a nice stay and we definetly will go back if we are in Port Huron.

The staff was friendly. The room was renovated but the bathroom wasn't. The public areas of the hotel are being renovated. The hot breakfast was great and the lady taking care of it was very nice.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. They are putting new carpet in the hotel and it is really nice there. The staff is very nice and helpful. I really enjoy this place!

We stayed at this hotel in October 2006 just before our baby was born. The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was exceptionally clean, the hot breakfast was delicious, but best of all the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept on. We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone and we are looking forward to visiting again!

We chose this hotel for the swimming pool and hot tub. We told them this when we called. We arrived to find out that both the pool and the hot tub were being resurfaced and were closed for our stay. On the second night we were awoken by a loud noise in the hallway. My husband went out to check and was greeting by one of the dozen officers in the hall telling him to get back in the room. We called the front desk and they couldn't tell us what was going on because they didn't know but assured us that we were safe. Lastly when we called we got our room total for 2 nights and when we arrived the quoted us the same price again. We were also told we wouldn't be charged until check out. However they decided to hold the amount plus and extra 50 dollars in our checking account upon arrival with out our knowledge. Such an error could have cost us.
