Restaurant on Ice
By maurice, 12/28/07
About 20 of my family went to Sunday dinner at the lobby restaurant. It was freezing! (this was summer) We asked the waitresses/managers to please turn up the heat. This they could not do because of the design of the space. They did finally pass out warm fluffy towels - but as a dining experience, it was poor. We sat hunched with towels around our shoulders and heads, shivering.

Didn't get what we signed up for!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/06/07
When making the reservation we were told there were various types of rooms: "Executive Deluxe", "Club Floor", etc. We chose a king size room that was to include a complimentry breakfast. Upon arrival we were put into a double queen. I returned to the desk to let them know there must be a mistake. I was told there was no mistake and they hadn't had complimentary breakfasts for several years. Something happened between May when the reservations were made and June. Our groups reservations were all messed up. Some had two rooms reserved under their name, some had none. The staff members were not very friendly. For the price, you can have a more enjoyable stay elsewhere.

Would stay again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/18/07
Great rate, conveniently located off major exit and near ballpark and convention center. Beautiful room, comfortable bed and great furniture. Three items of concern - very loud atrium, no bathroom exhaust fan, and my bill wasn't shoved under my door (I counted 8 others on my way to the elevator to leave). The bill and my morning paper were out in the hallway. Anyone could have come by and picked it up. Has your name and room rate and other info that shouldn't be left lying out in the open. If I'm ever in Sioux Falls, I would definitely stay here again, especially if there is a baseball game I can get tickets to.

I hate hotels, but loved this one
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/14/07
I would go back here in a heart beat, the next time I have to stay away from home. The only bad part is that they are full, but that goes to show you, that it is a great place to stay

Wonderful!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/28/06
Our family spent a week here with the National Gelbvieh Association group this summer. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The service was excellent, the rooms and beds were great! The people were the best of any place we've ever visited. Way to go!!! Donna

What a terrific experience! Pay the extra and get Club Level. Enjoy a cocktail and great breakfast on the club level. Extra special treatment, cordial staff, down pillows and overall great value. Highly recommended for business traveler.

overall a good stay
By Dan, 08/03/05
I love the beds and the peaceful atmosphere that the hotel gives. However, you will have to go through many steps to in order to receive your starwood points, which gets very frusterating at times. Marriott or Holiday Inn might be the option in this town.

Good location for Civic Center
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/04
On par with other Sheraton hotels, and very good compared to hotels in the area. Very convenient if using the Civic Center (same building).
